I think the Arsenal fans at the stadium are a disgrace.

I mean, this is the best we have seen our lads play in a long long while, the least the fans over there can do is stay back and applaud our team. Instead, they leave early in both this and the last home game. Its a f**cking disgrace. How then would our players feel if week in week out, they put in world class performances, only to see 1/4 of the lower tier empty by the 80th minute?

Our Gooners barely made a peep throughout the match and only sang when we scored. Just look at the Celtic fans having a ball of a time despite being 5-0 down on aggregate. Mucho respecto.

In the end, I'm glad the Bhoys scored their consolation because their superb fans deserve something. Our Gooners over there better show some appreciation to our team.

Yes, rightly said. Home fans should have shown better support to them. Being at home means that you are.... at home! Why bother going home soooo soon?

Maybe most took the game for granted knowing that we are 2-away-goal in advantage.

Maybe it's weekday and mostly have to work on the next day - unconvincing excuse?

Personally, we has done a great job in Emirates Stadium. Great overall performance and there have been some great goals scored - what more do you expect ?

Maybe, the first leg has killed off the excitement and opponent's ideal strategy - but we cannot deny that we were the much better side smile.gif

Kudos to the Gunners and bring on MU flex.gif

If it was Stadium Shah Alam or Bukit Jalil, that would be very true. Theirs is probably due to the congestion in the underground train station.

But still... Its a good performance, they should stay back to applaud the team and give the lads the extra motivation to take up to Old Trafford. I'm sure if they hung around the stadium for awhile, they'd beat the human traffic jam.

I think you're being a bit harsh on them. If its a weekend then probably its inexcusable but bear in mind its a weekday/working day and I'm sure most would have rushed to the stadium after working hours. Even more so taking the effort to make it there despite the heavy rain before the match as stated by the commentator. I'm sure most are tired and not to mention wet and hungry as well. Tomorrow is no holiday as well IMO and its understandable that they need rest as well. Its almost 10 pm there already mind you.

Great diving Dudu... thumbup.gif

Arsenal should start playing dirty to win games... can't be too naive like the past seasons...
Or else better teams will walk all over you.

Good game. Now, to Manchester for the next two weeks. rclxm9.gif

If I saw it today, I probably wouldn't be too harsh. But this also happened against Pompey, which was the first league game at home and on a weekend. At on top of that, everyone got free scarves.

Well yeah probably you are right about them for the Pompey game but I think for today's match they should be cut off some slack. I think for today the fans actually deserve some credit for even turning up in the first place. It was a workday, horrible weather before that to boot with the match being pretty late as well with the next day being a working day. Also we didn't even need to win this game. And yet we still managed an attendance of 59,962 or something which is almost capacity crowd. Even more so the match ends close to 10 pm, god knows what time they will actually reach home with the jams and all. If I were in their shoes today, tired, hungry, cold, wet and with still work the next day I might have done the same and leave early too.

Anyway about our fans leaving the stadium before a match ends, not only the Pompey match but it has been the case since the Emirates was built till now. Not a pretty sight I must admit but sigh guess we can't do much about it.

Another good win over Celtic... Didn't get to watch it, so no review but here's some quick points.

1. Dudu's "dive". No, diving should never be condoned, and I hope le Boss has a word with him. We're going to get nuked by the media in the days to come, but that's even better. The more people hate our team, the better it is.... No one gave a crap whenever decisions went against us, and honestly speaking I am not going to complain over something that for once went our way .

2. The buildup to Eboue's goal was absolutely superb. Same with Andy's twist-n-shoot. The difference between this season and the previous is how often our players get into the box to harass defenders and the midfielders follow up with a pop at goal. Great movement.

3. Celtic never really had a chance despite all the mind-games before the whistle. I hope all the other teams talk loud before they play us, and our camp just keeps quiet and focus on the preparation.

4. Rambo might be out too.. Bugger. Maybe Diaby will get some rest too... So Tommy's back in the team then? tongue.gif

“Aaron Ramsey is injured. I do not know how bad it is. I know they checked his knee but I have not spoken to the physios yet. Cesc looks to be short for Saturday. I could take Diaby off because he has not played for a long time. Three games in the same week would be a lot, apart from that, everybody looks alright.”

Another good win. I dun think Eduardo dived to get a penalty, he was diving to avoid the keeper & I dun think he was looking to get tht penalty. But then on another day he might not get so lucky.

We haven't been able to keep a clean sheet since the league started & we've conceded 2 very late goals. Although those goals came after we had sealed the win, we shudn't allow tht to happen. Anyway, great win, let's focus on the tough game ahead, our first test vs the Big 4. rclxms.gif

Dive or no dive, it all depends on one's perspective but the fact is that there wasn't much contact. Had it been Celtic who did it to us we would be fuming hence Boruc's outburst is understandable. Yet shoving and shouting at the referee is something that is often punished and if the ref wanted to be lansi he could easily give him a card.

Eboue's shirt makes no sense.. Thanks Be To God? unsure.gif

Andy's celebration is nice... Thierry Shhhsshhh and Bobby's wagging finger. Hopefully this will open the dam and Andy will score 5 goals in the next game laugh.gif

And this is WIN.

Well it was a good perfomance by the lads.Is it a obligation to concede a goal in every match? Why cant the lads hold on to clean sheet? If they're gonna concede a goal for every match, that will b like 38 in PL alone.I just hope the lads stay focused till ref blow the end of whistle.
