Thanks smile.gif. Now it's clear.

Try to search or borrow those credit card that has the maximum cashback with RM200 spending. In the end, we are paying around 90% of RM200...

For normal top up, can top up using Boost app or ShopBack/Lazada service to gain 8.5% cashback...

Attached Image

But I don't see the need to top up once subscribed to Vibe200 plan...

what do you mean by svc ctr? tunetalk service center?

I recently ported from digi to tuntalk. unfortunately i signed up for the wrong plan! supposedly i wanted to sign up for vibe 240gb package but i ter-signed up for 120gb package for the same price!

So pissed of myself and also their unwillingness to help me (they could at least prorate and deduce the days i use what)

Can I put tunetalk sim card into a router ?
Plan to signup a vibe 200.
*
QUOTE(tympg @ Jan 23 2018, 10:55 PM)
Can.  I'm doing it right now.  Just make sure you don't exceed the monthly limit, otherwise you will be charged by PPU basis.
*
We can sign-up up to 5 accounts for the Vibe200. Just let the balance in every account to zero Ringgit and no PPU will happen. After the first SIM card finish 20GB, we can pop-in the second SIM for another fresh 20GB. So, max per month is 20GB x 5 SIMs = ±RM17 x 5 SIMs = ±RM85 per month. But have to sacrifice to upfront RM200 x 5 SIMs at one go.

I guess those postpaid plans are way better as they are "unlimited GB" in nature...FUP applies to all plans by the way...

hmm. then can someone on behalf shows photostat IC to postman for verification purpose upon receiving the SIM card?
*
You can try. Most probably either the PosLaju-Man will just slot into your inbox or leave a note for self-pickup.

Better get the SIM deliver to your office (hoping you are around when he arrived)....

Got many sims incoming already. 4 of them.

No need to rush... firstly finish up your Unifi-M 80GB for RM0.00 ... after that only sign up for Vibe200...

I'm right now trying to finish all 100GB ASAP when I'm out and about... watching streaming at 480P as per throttled by Unifi-M doesn't help to finish the 100GB...LOL.. Downloading "miscellaneous" stuff right now... in the meantime, my TT Vibe200 is in hibernation/hiatus mode...LOL...

Summore, TT bandwidth is totally extremely hyperly under-utilised...

LTE-A at >50Mbps is a joy...

50mbps is slow by LTE-A standard.   hmm.gif
*
This is connecting directly to US server... the further / farther the location, the lower the speed...

I never trust speedtest.net as it is useless testing procedure...

fast.com is better as it shows which telco throttles their speed to servers outside Malaysia... speedtest.net don't do this sort of analysis (except their desktop client...)

In my example above, TT never throttles connection to US servers or any other servers outside Malaysia... hence, it is extremely reliable to streaming or gaming online with TT....

Netflix have SG CDN IIRC.

You can use http://speedtest.xfinity.com to test connection to US.
*
Yes, I agree...

Still, other telcos "quietly" throttle connection(s) outside Malaysia...

The Xfinity allows short "burst" of download but I can see it reaches 30Mbps ...

Does it come with free talk time?
And, why cant i buy with my tt credit?
their site is not showing some crucial info.....lol
*
I have to agree that their web content is kind of "not straight to the point". Their Marketing Department seems not collaborating with Legal Department.

We, the end user are "forced" to fully understand the T&C; words-by-words. I'm OK with this situation but majority of us may not like to be "forced" to read Legal document(s).

The crucial info is in the T&C below:

but talktime add-on only 1 month validity right?
how to get 1 year validity for talktime too?
or just topup normally  hmm.gif
*
Add-on validity = 30 days. Auto-renew every month from credit balance. Credit balance (aka Top-up aka reload) can be bought from TT apps or Boost app or Vcash app or online retailers (Lazada, Shoppe, 11Street, etc.)

Attached Image

As for Vibe200, it comes with 365 days credit balance (aka Top-up aka reload aka "airtime"). So, just make calls or SMSs using this "airtime". Once airtime reaching RM0.00, top-up/reload as mentioned above.

Attached Image

In my example above, I have RM44.91 of "airtime" for calls and SMSs for the next 365-day. No need to top-up / reload anymore (...or yet).

I'm thinking of porting into TuneTalk. One big worry is whether my banking TACs would have any problem coming in. Please share your experience. TQ.

You "might" wanna call all the banks related to that mobile number. They will reset their system to update TAC generator to be pushed to TT network...

I have to agree with you... it is very "mafan" for average Joe person to have this Vibe200 in possession... the kiosks nationwide is not making it easier too... the process is not one hour job... below is my experience (tor MNP case...)

Step 1: MNP via website. Have to wait for SIM card delivery by PosLaju. 3 days waiting period...

Step 2 : After received SIM card, have to call TT careline for MNP process to begin. Another 48 hours waiting period....

Step 3 : After MNP is successful, then only can buy Vibe200 from website using Credit Card... it is one shot RM200 charge (with 6% GST...?) and the "freedom" to use 20GB per month for the next 365-day. No need to top-up, no need to worry credit validity, no need to chase Lazada EZBACK voucher code(s)...LOL...

So, the "mafan" to me is like,
"Bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian ...."

Why through the TuneTalk apps I always can pay for renewal using Maybank2u ... without needing for CC payment. I always renew my DP15 and DP30 that way, so far no problem or issues.
*
your plan is not Vibe200... Vibe200 must pay RM200 one-shot using credit card... after paid RM200, no need to renew every month...

It's like 12-month "contract" because we have committed to pay 12-month one-shot... but for RM17/month to get 20GB is a dream come true situation....

I see, so the Vibe200 only need to pay using credit card... thank you for clarify  thumbup.gif
*
That's why I'm subscribing Vibe200 only for data. No calls and no SMS.

For calls and SMS, I still have my primary line under different telco.... My total monthly commitment is RM17 (Vibe200 20GB 4G+ data) + RM40 (unlimited calls and 50 SMS plus 3GB 4G+ data...)
