If without yearly RM200 plan, then, we have to ensure the line always active in order to consume the free 3GB/month. This is the booby trap of TTVP for any promos.

With yearly RM200 plan, it comes with 365-day validity/active status. So, every month enjoy 3GB (Welcome data) + 10GB (RM200 plan data) + 10GB Basic internet (if 3GB and 10GB exhausted) + free TT-to-TT calls.

The main keyword is "CREDIT Validity"...



TTVP is "forcing" us to FREQUENTLY top-up in order to use the fast data quota. So, need to spend RM100 to get the 365 days "ACTIVE" status. The monthly "so-called" validity is NOT "CREDIT Validity". The word validity here should be rephrased to "access". We are granted 30 days "access" to unlimited calls but not data. The data in TTVP is linked to the "CREDIT" validity.

Confusing right? I know... I was there when testing dummy SIM-card under TTVP... It's a booby trap plan this TTVP... In the end, I'm sticking with the old TTBP...

Just watch out for this date. If this date expired, we can no longer use ANY data including the FREE 10GB basic internet.

To un-expired this date, must do top-up... RM1 = 1 day CREDIT Validity... RM10 = 10 days CREDIT Validity... RM100 = 100 days CREDIT Validity...

But after topup RM100, can buy RM100 for 365 days CREDIT validity... But it is a waste actually...becoz with RM100, we can get around 4 years CREDIT Validity under TTBP RM28 per year package...

Only the yearly plan comes with 365-day CREDIT Validity. No need to buy RM28 yearly validity.

But why TT only give the yearly plan "FREE" 365-day CREDIT Validity? Becoz we have paid for full commitment to stay with TT and not porting out for the next 365 days. So, it's kind of "Loyalty" benefits / treatment...

I don't see the reason to use GrabPay in this decade... Only reward points to collect forever... I would not participate in any reward points programs becoz they can simply manipulate the points in the future... Say today, they say 1K reward points get RM5 off ride... Later they change need 3K points to get same RM5 off... It's a bogus system/program...

Better use Boost ... Instant cashback ranging from 20 Sen up to RM5 per transaction... Out of five transactions, I usually get RM1 cashback for sure... The rest mostly 50 Sen cashback...

R U with TTVP or Buddies? 30 days AIRTIME/ACTIVE validity (for topup RM30) is valid for both TTVP and Buddies Plan. But free 4GB LTE data is only for Buddies Plan.

In order to enjoy the free 3GB data, we need to always topup RM30 every month...!!! It's a booby trap...! If we feel investing RM30/month is "cheap", then go for it...as for me, I'd rather add RM12.40 (ie RM42.40 per month) for unlimited data & call plan in the Orange spaceship...

Malaysian Marketing Booby Trap Phrase of the Century is "UP TO".... Always be careful when dealing with phrase "UP TO"....


TTVP is not entitle for RM28 for one year AIRTIME/ACTIVE validity. It's RM100 for TTVP:


For both TTVP and Buddies, buying the 120GB data for one year (@ RM200) comes with 360-day AIRTIME/ACTIVE validity...

At least their T&Cs are clear and concise... If we are not into reading long winding T&Cs, better skip TT...

Having said that, other telcos are almost the same when it comes to marketing phrase & T&Cs... Up to individual to decide...

My guess ur validity is around 1st June... That's why still can use any data...

Hmmm... Balance is RM65... 65 days CREDIT/AIRTIME/ACTIVE validity.... So, since 1st May, you've topup RM30... So, on 1st May, the validity was 18 May... (?)...

Say, don't topup at all until 17th June, by 18th June cannot use any data anymore... (by right...)...

Oh ya... Forgotten about that free 50% credit for topup RM30 after ported in...



It's still available until further notice...make sure we top up either RM30 or RM50 only... Other denomination is not entitled...

There are two scenarios for TTBP:

Scenario 1: Do not buy 1 year validity/active @ RM28
In this case, VIBE15 or whatever VIBE plans "need" to be purchased monthly because it comes with 30 days validity/active status. But if skip a month, then, the line becomes "45 days grace period"...after 45 days still no topup, it'll be inactive and terminated.

Scenario 2: Buy 1 year validity/active @ RM28 (Recommended)
Can buy VIBE15 and others within 365 days without worrying about validity / active status. Buy VIBE15 once and then use for 30 days. After that can skip a few months, say, 5 months and continue buying VIBE15 again if required.

Yes for both statements....

We all sees it but cannot subscribe... The system will reject the request for subscription becoz not fulfilling DOB requirement...

Call all banks for them to reset at their end..
