Is that the way it works? I thought only free stuffs like the 3gb (upon signup or mnp) works if you keep topping up every month but stuffs that you paid for like plan would work for 30days regardless of credit validity.

Nvm, my credit expires on 5th May. I'll try to buy VIP10 to try.

My view on this is just like the others. Yes, TTVP basic tnc covers that you can't use any data quota if you're not active. That quota is the freebies, 3gb high speed and 10gb 64kbps. However if you goto any of the plan tnc, it said clearly valid for 30 days and both data&talktime were mentioned. Hence I do think TT will allow you to use your valid plan for 30 days while forfeiting the addons, freebies that came or purchased under TTVP.

I'm on both Yoodo and TT. I think it's a mix bag between both. Yoodo is flexible but I had my fair share on complaints with slow loading on local sites like soyacincau and thestar. Funnily enough, each time after my complaint, it worked well for few days but will return to being slow after that. Tried TT and both sites loads instantly without any problem. I do not know what yoodo is trying to filter on both sites.

At the beginning, I also prefer yoodo for its low pings but lately I don't know why it would have massive pings swung whenever I play Moba. Not saying TT is better, but I get the feeling that yoodo is getting more and more congested as time passes.

My credit expired yesterday but I'm still able to use high speed internet. Yesterday I could still see the amount of data used under the welcome bonus, but now it wasn't able to load the subscription info. However the high speed internet still work. I'll test again last around 8am to see if anything changed.

Update:

My data was blocked when I tried it around 8am. I tried to subscribe vip10 but couldn't do so even with wifi. No choice but to delay this test to next month. I would subscribe vip10 around 5-10 days before my credit expires and see if there's any difference.

Same here. Internet was blocked this morning around 8am. Can't top up nor subscribe any plan.

Since it was my work line, I top up RM30 via Boost first. I'm gonna subscribe vip10 5 days before credit expires.

Holy crap, Digi looks like going to buyout Celcom from the news for Telenor Axiata merger. I wonder if I should reload more each month and just sign for the TT200 before they become one.

Try again tomorrow(or Tuesday since Monday is a public holiday)morning around 8am. I didn't top up when my credit expires and internet still works on Sunday from free 3gb. Then it cuts on Monday 8am.

I think it's great that TT allow 1 day for you to reload. If you miss this though, there's no way to access TT app even with wifi (from my previous month experience). I'll try again when my credit near expiry to see if vip10 is special.

I faced the same problem too.

Just livechat with TT app, then they will give you an email to send your ic, phone number, personal details. They will process manually. In the end, I've successfully ported out to TT from Yoodo.

Yes. I used boost to top up this month after my credit expires and was unable to even open my TT app.

I'm happy that you can still use your line. Then there's no need for me to test anymore. Will reload every month until 7th month and then buy 120gb for free internet for the next 12 months.

I was going to do the same test as you did but with VIP10.

My goal is still to utilise free data for 7months and then on the last day of my credit validity, I'm gonna just dump everything into 120GB plan. I do feel a bit wasted with only 2GB for RM10 even with VIP10 but since you tested already, I can save my RM10.

Well, I'm not very familiar with this credit validity or airtime validity as I have never ever used prepaid before. I still have a couple of lines with Yoodo. Some for calls, some for data.

Actually 2gb for RM10 is gooding to me if can get the VIP10. Got data, and only need RM10 to maintain a number, okay ma.

But since my app shows the correct birth date, so it's 1gb + 3gb for me. Anyway 4 gb for 12 months, or RM120 for 48gb is okay la.

I ported out from Yoodo too... so I get the 3GB as well for 12 months. 3GB is not enough given how TT and Yoodo calculate their data block. But I just endure this for the moment and use my other Yoodo sim for data since got 3X.

My TT data is down right now, area kepong... luckily I had yoodo secondary. Really cannot depend on one provider nowadays.

Anyway, it's hard to communicate with TT live chat. She insist the extra only for new sim from online store. I dont really get what's the difference between online shop or app. I thought it will be easier to use app for everything but it appear that it is not the same when you port via app vs website. Not to mention the porting via app is buggy as hell that I thought it was actually loading a webpage. It kept stuck at payment.

Anyway it wasn't a big deal over RM15 thus I just ended the chat. Will try to subscribe VIP10 on 5th June since your result is now invalid.
