the XPS M1730, Intel Core 2 Extreme,jz remember that day, during 1st month release of i3,i5,i7 1st gen gt see Dell with i7 extreme edition... it was display in a glass. i wonder which model is that... i'm sure i'm not dreaming..

extreme edition offered any performance? better than 2nd gen sandy bridge? dedicated GPU really not worth.. m18x really damn nice.. my dream laptop is m21x!!!!

dedicated GPU? Dedicated means 专用 in chinese.
When we say dedicated GPU fan, means that the fan is only for the GPU, not shared by the CPU because CPU has its own fan too :]

Buying the GPU alone is of course not worth it, it's too expensive and somemore we don't know whether the laptop is able to cater the heat generated by a more powerful GPU or not.

Well, normal CPU, you can't change the multiplier, so the only way to overclock is via changing the FSB speed...

FSB like 100MHz to 133MHz,
CPU speed is gained by multiplier times FSB..

like my laptop got 133-166 mhz fsb right?

Yes, multiplier is fixed because its not extreme edition..

and what does it related with extreme edition ?
