But but but, what I know is, if you have any symptom, wear a mask to protect from infecting others.
But lets say even if you wear, some infected guy sneeze while doing some reps, then you use the machine and your hands are filled with bacteria, though you are safe from air (mask), but when mask wet, you use hand to wipe (sometimes), so also dangerous right?

Really need wash hand and face before and after gym, need keep clean towel near always so to avoid use hand or shirt or whatever.

According to WHO statistics, the case fatality rate for H1N1 is 0.036%, meaning those infected with H1N1 virus have a 0.036% chance of dying. It's extremely low compared to dengue. There's no need to panic but good personal hygiene is recommended, make sure you wash your hands after going to the gym, and make sure you don't touch your face after touching the equipments.

The N95 masks (the ones that look like a bra cup) will protect you from airborne particles, the regular mask (surgical masks aka 3ply mask) will only protect others from being infected if you are sneezing/coughing.

You see a guy coughing at the gym, take the heaviest dumbbell and smack him.

Use a barbell instead. Easier than lugging the dumbbell all the way to him. tongue.gif

...then do a couple of reps of an exercise of your choice.

Seriously, I don't even think about it. Being ignorant is no good, I admit, but you just gotta trust in fate.

I cough a lot these days in the gym, at work, heck any where.

I just go anyway, close my mouth whenever I need to cough.

Which gym does Mofonyx and Dan goes to?

I'll go find both of them.

The regular flu kills more people than the H1N1 flu. That means I am more deadly than piggy flu.

Gotta send Dan my germs via Poslaju.

Anyways, if you are really afraid of contracting H1N1, you can have your very own self imposed quarantine.

Stay at home and chill everyday like a hermit.
