Just came back from trying polkiuj's Ti Quark. Sweet little thing. thumbup.gif
The beam is very smooth, not too greenish, a little on the warmth side, nice hot spot and bright spills.

also got the DeoxIT Gold from him... drool.gif

I've got pretty good results from using these "enhancer" on my flashlights. My TK20 runs cooler because of it... biggrin.gif
A drop on the base of EZAA makes the turning action smooth as silk. Pretty cool product. thumbup.gif

are this u use at ur flashlight..
where can i find it bro  hmm.gif
how much it is....
how often do  u put the grease at ur flashlight and what brand...
*
yes, i'm using DeoxIT Gold on my flashlights, especially thread and plated contact that conduct electricity.
you can get from polkiuj, see the post above and his sales thread wave.gif
DeoxIT Gold is not strictly grease, fyi, although it has some lubricating properties, the main use is to improve contact and maintain the performance. As a side benefit of improving current flow, the lights will run cooler. YMMV ... whistling.gif
I service my flashlights when it doesn't feel smooth or it felt gritty or look dirty, that's approx. 3 to 12 months, depending on usage. I'm using a variety of grease for different purpose on different materials... sweat.gif The most important thing is to make sure you thoroughly clean all the *goo* that sticks onto the threads and o-rings before re-lube.

pseudoblue, thanks man. smile.gif

this new Fenix Ti light has a tail twisty.
oh, the PD10 also.
you mean this
i think that is a new spring
or for changing mode??
of sure u twist the head not the tail
*
strinq, good catch... I think it's indeed a tail twisty... the English version doesn't clearly state it, but the Chinese version does... Fenix PD10 (Chinese) or direct link to LD10 picture
Tail Twisty with Springy feel... that's a first. blink.gif

I just remembered we also played with the Anglelight MC10, it looks and feel solid, even though the body's plastic but it's high grade. It does look abit like a cheapo at first glance. But I think it's an excellent tool light where you can just throw it into a tool box or something. The Osram die is smaller than the XPE, has a slight warmer tint than the XPE's cool white.
ya... it feels like Surefire Nitrolon, but softer in touch.

Fenix PD10 Titan, hmm.gif it seems to be on/off at tail, mode switch at head?

its the tail cap interchangeable?
coz the turbo tail cap looks bigger
yup, it's interchangeable. not only the tail cap is bigger (better and more solid grip), but mid-section body is also thicker. Overall, it feels more solid than any previous Quark release. smile.gif
but unlike previous Quark release, this Turbo tail thread is anodized... hmm.gif

i tot it uses the same engine as the regular quark just with a bigger deeper reflector?
XP-G smile.gif

EDIT: The Regular/Tactical Quark with XP-G not shipping yet, so comparison is made with XP-E version.

Some beam shots of Quark Turbo and other flashlights, no attempt to compare the brightness, but to see the hot spots of some lights. smile.gif

EDIT: I believe you can see the Surefire TIR lens really work its magic here, the bright hotspot throws as well as the Turbo, if not more. notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

QUOTE(nexro @ Nov 30 2009, 10:40 PM)
how is the side spill of the E2DL compared to the Quark Turbo ?
E2DL basically has less spill than Quark Turbo, both have comparable throw, tho Quark Turbo has more overall brightness. brows.gif
yea... XP-G in E2DL, that'll be interesting... drool.gif

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ Nov 30 2009, 11:40 PM)
...It looks like the E2DL is slightly brighter
from the photos, it may appear so, but that's likely due to tint different and the bright spill of Quark Turbo overlapping E2DL spot. sweat.gif brows.gif
