ohh.. u interestd in the 4d300tour ... u can contact crimson viper.. he has one ... i think he hasn't even whack with it yet.. (possibly just one hit). he bought wrongly as he wanted the 4d300 16x19 but accidentally bought the 18x20 tour instead. u can either contact him directly or u can PM me for more details too.. can provde u his contact as well..

it's a good buy as it's new and i think he is willin to giv u a good offer as he bought it at our fav shop as well, so price will be already very competitive and low. btw it's the same price for the 4d300 and 4d300tour .. rm480.00.. I myself owns a 4d300 as well... sweet racq ..

well u can use those that they use in pos office.. those thick package rubber bands. Else you can go get some OTZ bands fr UPTown 1racket shop (iranian) or go bangsar sportprises to get Tourna bands (5 in a packet) - blue color. Not that expensive also lah ... i have used both brands before... OTZ is shorter .. the tourna is longer and tourna comes in 1 color but OTZ have diff colors.

anyways there is no definite answer for whether it'll work well or not .. coz it's very personal. the feel of the ball on ur racq. some pref a more dampened feeling and some purist wanna just feel erything... so subjective lah .. but wat i can say is rubberband tend to just giv u more feel compared to the regular dampener as it doesn't absorb totally the feeling out fr the racq.

just giv it a try lah .. not dat expensive wat... can buy APDC and cannot afford rubberband... say also ppl laugh lah..

Added on September 6, 2009, 11:20 pmyah ahwee uses the regular rubber band and tie it across the mains... like 4-6 across... according to him gives him more feedback tat way ... unlike the regular dampener or those thick rubberband... coz the thick rubberband normally ppl just tie across the 2 centre mains...

which type u want .. they hav a few types .... the wilson 3g strip... or those in a tape form... i think if not mistaken crimson is using it and it's fr tourna ...

oh okay ... well it depends on where u wanna add the weights... if u thinkin of adding it to the throat .. i wud say the wilson strip is ok as it's flat and it's not that flexible... but if u thinkin of customizing the weights at the frame itself.. say 3o'lock or 9 o'clock etc.. then the tape roll form shud b better... the wilson strip comes in 3g each .. however the roll type u need to cut urself and it's measured by g/inches i think...
so let me know which one u prefer i'll go grab it later ...

about the stringing adding lead... personally i haven't try it yet but i know a few players who adds them to experiment and some came to enjoy it. esp when buying those asian versions of the k6.1 90... i know a few who will add a few G to make it the US version alike. So i won't rubbished adding leads etc for tweaking the racket to suite individual. If not then i post this question back... all 300g rackets the same ?? of coz not .. coz weight is not the only factor to consider when we swing a rack, it's the racket's overall weight, the swing balance, head heavy, head light, stiffness, sweetspot size etc... so by tuning it even by pros, they can maximized on their comfort level as well as performance. Even more clearly those tourney's players be it local or international who has a few of the same racq, for e.g two k6.1 90s, they might hav some slight diff due to their diff batches. so players do custom the weights to get it as close as possible.

Thus i would say it's nothing wrong and nothing weird to custom ur racq to your own personal pref. it's very personal and up 2 individual desire...

yup somebody confirmed taking already the exo3 red ..hehe... so bought the 4d500 for my gurl. she using the aero500 now. but since my palm got hurt (blister). i've been swinging the aero500 more (light) .. din know such an experience.. it's light and comes with this nice slapping sound.. it's a very easy racket and i wud say even much easier on the arm and defnitely more maneuverable than the aero300 but one thing is tat against big hitter a bit not stable. esp those who whack with lots of weight on the balls.. it's easy to send back .. but hard to counter power with power.

anyways my list of racqs that i keep in my bag is : PDRGT, exo3 graphite 100, 4D300, 4D500, Aero500 and soon to go the exo3 red.

dun thnink so lah ben... quite disappointed with prince thus far..haha... xcept for the speedport red.. the rest so so onli the experience...

next one mayb the storm GT ? hehe...
