Step Six
Okay this is important : Wait for about ONE DAY before doing the following steps**

Login to your Maybank2u again and click on Accounts & Banking, then click on your Account number for your Account Details.

Then click on Debit Card History. You should then see an entry with the word “Paypal”. The code is the 4 numbers before the word Paypal.

Eh, oops.

Kinda did the paypal thing, THEN find out my maybank2u acc is deactivated. So i reactivate it via phone, and I look for the "Debit Card History" dropdown option. It isnt there...

So fine, I go to Today's Transactions and it says:
xx-xxx-2012 SALE DEBIT RM10.00

And DOESNT say anything about pay pal, any 4 digit code or all such stuff...

Advice?

Thanks!

Look at Debit card history. Took 1 - 2 days to appear.

look like this

06-Jan-2012 SALE PP*XXXXCODE\\YYYYYYYYYY\ DATED 06/01/12

You need the XXXX code.

I add RHB to my PayPal account, whenever I need to buy something, I'll need to Top-Up my account first.

With credit card, you do not have to add money first, you can straight away pay and PayPal will deduct money from your card.

another question is assume im purchasing an item which cost usd50 on ebay.com, how do they charge? based on the current exchange rate stated by maybank or normal standard rates from xe.com? is there any extra charges from maybank side or paypal site?

It should be the exchange rate stated by Maybank.

guy....i just first time start to use paypal. when i press pay to buy thing,it give a message say :
PayPal is constantly working to protect our members against fraud. We review every transaction before it is approved, and we may block a payment when we detect a potential risk.

Our reviews take into account every aspect of a transaction, including looking at both parties. These decisions help us maintain the integrity of our payments network in the same way as other payment processors: by declining transactions with an unacceptable level of risk.

While our fraud measures occasionally block a legitimate payment, to maintain overall security, we cannot overturn any decisions about an individual transaction.

If you decide to continue this transaction using a different funding source, please note that the associated risk levels have not been decreased.

need someone to tell me what the problem......
