Hummph...Not enough bravado from me....

This is the time to buy those underpriced* counters, but too many counters and lose focus. Ended up buying Pelikan, hope for growth.

I'm waiting PLUS to announce this week. Hopefully got dividend and good results....Generally very good ROE. >15% PE high though and slight debt...But a good cash generating cow, since not many competitors in Asia and we like to drive the PLUS highway.

* - underprice means priced lower than 2 days ago.. tongue.gif

Perhaps it was that time when the oil prices were hitting the roof a la USD72/barrel and then everyone was getting ready for the mad oil rush
only to see the price drop back down to UDS59/barrel ?? tongue.gif

That time anything with oil to the name was exciting...like BORNOIL...haha biggrin.gif

Sorry, can anyone help to explain in layman term:
Can-One wishes to inform that the hearing of the application made by Can-One International Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, to set aside and/or strike out the Plaintiffs’ Writ and Statement of Claim has been adjourned. The aforesaid application has been fixed for mention on 14 September 2009.

This announcement is dated 18 August 2009.

The point is, before you bought junk, you knew it was not a junk.
Entering.

Err...I am a bit confused...probably still picking up the necessary in stock trading. The stock was not really a junk stock when I bought it but I have to say I did not do enough research as I was just started with some small stock trading. So it was a painful experience and lesson learned. Till today, I am still holding on to it on WB rule no.1 - never loss your capital. Just that I am always pondering, I could probably do better if I use the remaining capital for other counter. Hence, I posted the question when you brought up this topic.

Of course, there are other counter I am still holding because I joined the goreng crowd. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

buy THE EDGE this week edition...got review on riverstone which is listed in SGX... they do glove but clean room type, not surgical OEM type such as top glove, kossan etc. they hinting on shifting/add production on surgical glove... clearly NOT benefiting from H!N1 order... generally the stock trend still downtrend not like our glove counter trending up.

Let me try to explain the too big to fail syndrome (sry im a newbie as well), its a syndrome like a corporation is a too large and it musnt fail, thus causing a bail out by the government to help these large corporations
