Yes...u're right...20 AIG become 1 only at current price of 2X (after 30 June)....need to wait long long time to get back the capital... doh.gif
*
Interestingly, somebody here reported that a friend his bought AIG for $1 or something and after reverse split, AIG immediately tanked to $10 because of massive shorting. His pal didn't know about the split thought AIG went from $1 to $10 (thinking it was ten fold increase) and immediately sold off thousands of shares resulted in massive losses. shakehead.gif

AIG now is back to equivalent pre-split price (after the short covering).

Most of the financials all have sky-rocketed. Those who bought some before the massive run up got huge gain, this includes C (Citigroup) which has gained over 60% in less than 3 weeks.

A bit of pullback is good... right now.. just some sniper attack by red army.
Not yet full force assault.

But, I am happy to see SSE are currently being attacked by Red Army.
Just a few more days like this for full capitulation to bring them to their senses. brows.gif

I'm saying the entire global economic isn't going to recover by 2012.
However, the trend is rising up, it will clash/profit taking but the trend is moving up.
The worst is over, even if it clashes, it won't fall untill 800 point.
Hopefully it will happen by end of this year
*
Quite right..therefore the current rally IMO is not a bull market but merely a bear rally.
We may still see couple of drops perhaps between 5%-25%-50% before we have true recovery.

The "less bad" and "less than stellar" earnings are all nothing but farce.
The way the market moves up so quickly recently leads me to believe it may fall back sharply.
Time to take some profits off the table before the big fall. nod.gif

That's a very pessimistic outlook! Of course, it's also worth keeping in mind that it's reasonable to expect a big crash market in 2012. After all, that's when the next Malaysian general election is scheduled and we all know what's likely to happen at that time. Also, Obama's up re-election then too, and I expect him to lose a lot of his popularity by then. Last of all, there's all of the end of the world theories for 2012. It's hard to tell how much weight to put on that last one, but I'm guessing that it's got to count for something.
*
Quite right. thumbup.gif

The world financial market will crash big time in 2012. The first country who leads the big down fall is none other than USA.
60-80% of their homes will under water, crushed under massive debt and not only that, I believe the USD will tank big time due
to printing by US govt. Other currencies will follow as well. We may have to barter using precious metals like silver and gold. Yes, I am serious. nod.gif

Gen bear gathering strength. If we can keep 3 digits loss.. towards closing, there will
be a real pressure come next week.

I love it when market begin to turns south, the media also spins bad stories.

Somehow, the MM are probably behind this. hmm.gif

DJ losing steam fast.. energy stocks got hit.

As I've stated, it doesn't make sense when the fundalmentals are weak,
Wall Street continues to rally. Oil kept going up when there is little demand.

Now, that they got the consumer confidence report.. Doh? Pullback happens.

Recovery? Yeah right. Where?
Where are the buyers? Who got money to spend? Every consumers are pulling back and not spending as much.

Those "less bad" earnings are nothing but farce. Year to year comparison they're down big time.
Their guidance are so low.. even the pirated VCD sellers in Malaysia can beat them. tongue.gif

As long profit is profit, little or more it is ok. nod.gif

Sometimes slow and steady also good. The market will always be here.

There are always winners and losers.

Have you heard of people losing 200K~500K ? I have.
Losers usually won't tell you. But if they do, you can learn more from losers than winners.

No, the conspiracy theory is Bilderberg is in bed with the govt. Infact, they control the world govt. biggrin.gif

Look at the dow, they gave back 30 points. Oh well.. Obama's PPT is in action again. Goldman Sachs computers automatically kick in the BUY signal when the market hits the low point.
