you can choose to auto sell at the last working day of the month. For HLE, charge is lower, but I forgot how much.

Yup. TA is for speculation. You won't be seeing people investing using TA method, although it do helps in giving us the guidelines on the entry price
*
Well, i ask you: have you ever checked out the historical chart of the shares before you buy? The historical highest and lowest price of the share? The reasons it fell? I'm sure you did. All these are TA.

TA is for speculation, no doubt, but with speculation, at least you know the favaour of the shares, without speculation, that would be total zero knowledge and understanding.

Invest with feeling is true speculation instead, my 1 cent, no offence please wink.gif

Investing is also speculating what will happens in the futures with some baseline(our capital) whereas "Investing" in Futures is sort of gamble. I never say speculation is bad or good.

If you ask whether I checked historical chart for highest/lowest - Yes. For guidelines for my entry points, just in case the stock could be at the peak. But just as guidelines, because if I think the stocks still worth it, I will still go ahead to buy. (Case for Digi when it was at RM8 and consider very "high").
Fundamental analysis is performed on historical and present data, but with the goal of making financial forecasts.
Reason - Yes. This is FA

All shares are going up and down according to the trend. Currently, we are having "rising up" trend, shares are moving up. Futures is just buying or selling the average indexes; when the stocks are rising up, Futures rise, vice versa

What can I say.. the bulls are clearly in power today.

The worse than expected jobless claims hardly scare the market any more. Same as the worsen retail data for month of July. Oil went back up, France and Germany declared recession is over, just added more power to the bulls. Couple of times, DJ went into red but were quickly filled by panic buyers. BAC as expected attracted more buyers after Paulson hedge fund announcement of $2.8 billion buy yesterday.

Recession? What recession? Seems like the market think we're in recovery already.

Why can't you transform yourself into a BULL hmm.gif ,

and accept the fact that there is a RECOVERY in the future, near or far.

For those that holding REITs, better hold tight tight now. Last round after OSK REITs roadshow in Northen region, the REITs start to rally. Now, M2U has a roadshow in central region (I think much smaller scale), REITs counters may move up more. I think the main audience will be those that "invest" in ASM and FD or those entering retirement age... Current dividend yield still around 9% as compared to "good days" 12%. Anyway, still better than putting in FDs or ASM... Even better than EPF... hmm.gif

LCL main problem is whether they can collect their debts or not... Other than that, I don't see much problem... Cancelling projects are common and as long as they manage to top up back with new project, then is ok. If they can't collect their debts, there will be major write off... I hope I'm wrong... The one and only reason why I dump LCL after it rise so much.

Added on August 14, 2009, 7:43 amBuying REITs is very different from buying other stocks. You don't buy with the aim of capital gain (even though we like capital gain), we buy for dividend for constant stream of income. So, if you find the dividend yield meet your criteria, then buy. Of course, need to see also other things like the diversification of the REITs and the gearing (which I think are more important). Last month I ask quite a few friends that doesn't really play stocks to buy REITs instead of ASM. My favourite REITs still Axreit and Hektar (some minor dissapointment with Q2 result). Maybe I'm a bit bias as I didn't really study other REITs in detail.

Thanks for the feedback.

I just started playing with blog recently and found it's easy for me to
remember my trading plan for the following day.

Recently, I was introduced to forum and also first time involved in it...so I'm quite new
to the forum and I can't think of a better approach to share my view on the day trading activities.
Or, shortcut to express my view to these forum with those jpeg image and description.
Furthermore, some of the views are continuation analysis process.

That's why I use the blog website address to link those interested to view more about it.

Just to share my view not "self-fish reason".

Thanks for your view on REITs. I do plan to hold some counters giving me really good div so that I can still collect money no matter what.(as I mentioned earlier, I want to retire or semi-retire early).

Regarding Scomi RI, is it good news or bad news? I see recently whenever RI is announced, the stocks surged
