thx....looking for the modded driver now!!c if it really work! hmm.gif
btw....the TZ00,TZ01,TZ02 in CPUID is the chipset on mainboard, and some forumer said tat the TZ02 is actually the chipset for graphic card, and i notice tat when playing game, the temp of TZ02 do raise very fast and can go very high!so, sometime i jus refer to the TZ02 to figure out the temp of GC...

i didn't do any benchmarks with it yet but imo cod4 now runs a bit smoother.so does cs source

however,my modded driver's catalyst control center doesn't work.i had to use the default ccc and 9.7 display driver.maybe i modded it wrongly though.it's my first time

Really? Do everyone HDD run on WD?? I thought Dell randomly select the brand of the HDD.

If all of the S15 users that ordered directly from Dell were using WD HDD, I think that shop better have proper explanation on it. Don't use manager told wrong and Dell gave wrong information this kinda bullshit..not to be a firestone, but if I were you, Ill storm off to that shop and demand an explanation.

mine HD is WD

QUOTE(Charcoal @ Aug 16 2009, 11:55 AM)
If you know how to undervolt properly, there are no cons at all. The idea is to set the lowest possible voltage that your laptop can run stable at. Of course, the process involves lowering the voltages level by level to find out which voltages are the limit which will cause some blue screens. There is no damage at all to hardware though. Undervolting is a great way to get lower temperatures.
Oct 22 is the launch date.

Yup. if you successfully registered on the Dell Win7 website, then you should have received a confirmation email from Dell. When Win7 launches in Oct, you will get an email to trigger you to log in and place your order.
