QUOTE(Wan @ Aug 28 2009, 04:43 AM) Have to wait till the end of the season. Nobody would sell their players in the middle of the season. No no,don't sell Nani. Just use the mid season transfer window as a method to gauge his growth Added on August 28, 2009, 4:44 amPretty tough draws huh? But we should be able to get past this group, unless we ... up somewhere. Added on August 28, 2009, 4:47 amTevez 1-1 Owen. Game on! QUOTE(ToddStarz @ Aug 28 2009, 05:00 AM) zzz. Ignorance? I know what it means and Im not using it la Im big enough to admit that I only came across this tearm and its meaning a couple of years back because prior to that, the only kind of football interaction was in real life All im saying is,the more you stress on it,the more our rivals will say it. Why give them something to use against us. But forget it la,i hardly see United fans saying it anymore, only the newer ones. |

AC vs Real and Barca Vs Inter..how interesting is that..former players will be up against former clubs..anyhow, i think arsenal might have the easiest draw but i might be wrong. for us, travelling would be a b*tch..i just hope it wont effect our league performance after each game..

I don't disappointed at all because i know it will not happen. Come on, you really think SAF going to buy Robben when we have the likes of Nani, Park, Valencia, Obertan and Tosic? Nani still can be pakai'ed, i always have faith in him. And we haven't yet to see Valencia & Obertan's potential because it is so damn early.I'm glad we have this squad. United don't pluck the stars up above on the sky, we make stars. Owen is exceptional. He's the fallen stars, we picked him up polish him and help him hanging on the sky with other smaller stars. olol This post has been edited by maxizanc: Aug 28 2009, 05:56 AM |

we need our steel man more rather than a winger..we do have fletcher but having hargreaves in the middle of the park will give us extra protection at the back..

To me, i would say, we need the '2nd' Vidic. Or someone who has 3/4 ability of Vidic for our center back. That's the only purchase that we need now. This post has been edited by maxizanc: Aug 28 2009, 06:10 AM |

**sorry off topic
QUOTE Tevez - Utd disrespected me Argentine reveals reasons behind Old Trafford exit Carlos Tevez claims his move away from Manchester United was driven by a lack of respect shown to him by the Red Devils. The Argentina international's future was the subject of much speculation this summer, with the combative frontman making it clear that he wanted out of Old Trafford at the end of his two-year loan deal. He was linked with a host of clubs before eventually opting to cross the Manchester divide and join United's arch-rivals City. Having grown disillusioned with life under Sir Alex Ferguson, Tevez was of the opinion that a fresh start was required in order to reinvigorate his career. He admits as much, but has also blamed a lack of communication with his former boss for helping to make up his mind. "I think I deserved more respect than what was shown," Tevez told Loaded magazine. "It was very strange. In the first year everything went very well - I was part of the team and felt like I was important to the coach and the club. But in the second, there was a big change. "There was no communication with the manager and I began to feel as if I was not wanted. "Every footballer will say that if they do not feel wanted, then it is the beginning of the end." Skysport do we have a reason to hate him now? |

Second this. We need a central defender backup as Rio, Brown, Vida and Evans are hit with injury crisis. Although Vida recovered we still need backup for the the rest. We can try to promote De Laet or Carthart into the senior squad. Give them a run to prove their ability. Evans got his chance after season loan at Sunderland right? We can do the same to De Laet or Carthart.IMO, Obotak should play in senior squad instead of reserve. CR jumped straight into the starting lineup and what an impact he made. Obotak have the quality but he need chance to prove his worth to SAF and the team. Tosic should play more often too.. QUOTE(phreak_id @ Aug 28 2009, 07:01 AM) I have no interest to read anything related to Tevez rant on us. Same old news... |

Ribery to come to United?
Nah, just my assumptions, its the link for Robben to Munich story. So, that would soften the stand Munchen have for Ribery? Lowering the price and United to come and make a bid? |

QUOTE(driftmeister @ Aug 28 2009, 08:51 AM) maybe for this season, it could pave ways for RM to get in ribery. maybe a last minute bid from RM or any interested club. or maybe it's a pre-contract has been agreed for ribery to sign for RM after this season ends. |
