World’s first hybrid 32-Phase power ,ASUS P7P55D Premium
P7P55D Premium with the world’s first hybrid 32-phase power delivery and the latest SATA 6Gb/s storage interface

QUOTE
Since Marvell announced their 9123 SATA 6G controller, each manufacturer tried to equip it with their P55 series mobo. But due to the Marvell 9123 SATA 6G controller has some BUG, and cannot be solve before the released time, so untill now we still cannot see any P55 board on market comes with the Marvell 9123 SATA controller, thats means the SATA 6G feature will be missing together.

And now , the R&D of Asus has been working hard and tweak the Marvell 9123 controller to BUG FREE, and again , we can see the chip on P7P55D Premium.

Good news , I can get Quad Cores (LGA 775) at a cheaper price and a good motherboard. However if the prices of Core i5 is cheap , then I would jump to i5
*
You mean it's better to postpone buying a core processor first until the launch of core i5 in malaysia? because the core duo/quad cpu price will drop? drool.gif

those are juz verifications, so the user might be on LN2, so plz don hav the mindset that its a sure thing to get 5GHz from the new i5.

One of the main highlight here, the PLX PEX8613 chip, can turn 4 PCIE x1 (Gen1) to 2 PCIE (Gen2)

Another highlight, Marvell 9123 controller, providing two SATA 6G and one IDE support.

Sorry, I just couldnt help myself, allow me to blow holes in Asus's marketing propaganda, current HDD do not even transfer up to 250mb/sec unless it is a SSD, and it is a very very expensive one to boot. Im talking on X-25 II sort of pricing. Hence they are using a 6gb SSD, which is tested under laboratory conditions

Now I cant find the PWM buck controller datasheet online, could someone kindly supply it to me? So I may continue my technical rant tongue.gif
