1 year probably 3 times
you can check in Bursa Malaysia web page, this coming 8 March 2011 will be given away 63 cents.... so for last year 2010 payout is 240 cents

BAT has increased along 2010 for its share price...and cigarette price for premium one also now at 10 already .....
so based on past trends, coming July if not mistaken normally will be another payout..................................

check this out.... number may be not accurate so you double check again their financial reports.....

thanks for your detailed information.

please tell me if my calculation is correct

assume I buy 1 lot @ 40 = RM4000

last year dividend 240 cents = 100 x 2.40 = RM 240

Hence the yield will be 240/4000 = 6%

am I right?

100 units of shares = 1 lot = the minimum number of shares you can buy at one time. Last time it was 1000 units = 1 lot
