I dunno that am i asking on the right place or not..but recently my robo gave birth to 5 babies...but 2 of it..die during birth..so now left 3..after 2 week, it begin to grow fur...but now..it loss fur...what happen to the babies ? fungus ? what should i do ? 3 of it also same..the daddy n mummy is ok...help pls..

Erm...what type of bedding are you using? What type of food you give them? Is the water clean?
Hamster pups are very delicate. If you're using pine or cedar,please do change the bedding to toilet rolls (not kitchen towels) or to any recycled paper bedding(like BC or any soft recycled paper beddings).

Hey guys, I wana ask you all something.. I suddenly found something on the back of my hamster today evening.. I woke up and when I wanted to feed him, I notice his back 1 part of fur gone.. I duno is whether a tumor or just the fur came off.. I never put him with another hamster.. So he is alone with his own cage..

He seem active but whenever I pick him up wit my hand, he bite me softly(not pain de) and also lick me.. Here are some pictures, help me see and reply me asap... If it is a tumor, I need to take him to the vet as soon as possible..

Better not wait for anything. There's no point asking us hear regarding this. There's nothing we can do also. Please bring him to the vet ASAP. Plus,we never know how serious this could be. Please keep us update

i have a winter white hamster but im not quite sure what colour she is.her name is kimberly,shes gray,the colour doesnt have a picture of it and doesnt have thewriting too she is very very small andd lives in a small house

i went to the vet, the receptionist told me for the doctor consultation it cost RM30-40.. I was shock

So i didnt do anything which i cant able to do since is so expensive.. Now just put him back in the cage and hope he will be fine..

so,are you just going to leave your hammy like that without knowing what's wrong? what's the point of keeping pets when you can't afford their necessities?

yeah i guess so, i cant do anything also.. When i bought the hamster to the vet, everybody look at me and even the receptionist told me i am the 1st person who bring hamster to the vet.. She also told me duno the doctor will treat my hamster or not since no body had never bring a hamster before.. So i told her nvm, as there were so many ppl there waiting for their dogs and cats.. So i ask her mostly how much it cost? she told me to try other vets and roughly around RM30..

Is not that i cant afford, is not worth by just letting the doctor to see my hamster with consultation fees cost RM30.. It haven include the medicine yet.. Im sure it will cost up to RM100++ If u were in my situation, im sure u will do the same since it cost so expensive.. Besides, hamster is not an expensive pet which im able to afford it, but this is totally off my budget..

I treat them well as i now raring 6 hamsters now.. Buy them quality foods and give them each 1 personal cage for their own living.. As now, i see he is still active and alive.. So i wont bother about the thing as i not sure is a tumor or wat.. I will just try to spend as much time with him as i can with them.. As u know, hamster life span is only 1-2years..

Btw,if i were i your situation i wouldnt do the same. And as i know(based on keeping hamsters since i was 13 hamsters lifepan is 3-4 years.
