Good center normally start at min RM 1.5k and above. There is a value buy in Aurum Cantus center speaker for less than RM 1.5k including shipping to Malaysia. It is using ribbon tweeter.

Any reason why we can't have that now? I always listen to music in stereo/pure audio.

Actually most receiver can play at 4ohm. Denon and Yamaha had no problem. Even Onkyo also no problem. 4ohm is fine as long as it don't dip to low 2 Ohm.

It's hard to expect a speaker set at that price to be perfect. If you compared to your bro's more expensive set then not a fair comparison. You get what you pay for.

Anyway, do try going back to Mediaplex and ask. No harm in at least asking if you can upgrade. They might do trade in.

for music...better stick to stereo...so u dont need a centre for that...unless u listen to SADC or smthing...but to me, the core music must come from stereo, i.e. the left and right

so check the stereo staging first....

centre is generally meant for dialogue in a 5.1 set-up
