My question was "Is it a wise move to sell 3,000 Maxis shares to buy 2,000 Maybank shares?"Almost same amount invested but Maxis dividend was 32 sen last year and Maybank dividend was 55 sen last year.
Maxis - Set For Listing Again, Maxis set for US$2b listing

It is dividend.you gotta decide which industry, risks and etc..... it's more than just dividends, at least to me. Instead of putting the money in the FD, put in Maxis or Maybank for long term. |

This is a tough choice. Nothing is certain. Both can go either way. 2015 seems to be rough year for us. MYR dropped. Commodity prices dropped .....In such environment, which is defensive? You have to decide.

QUOTE(Oracles99 @ Dec 10 2014, 11:08 PM) Those who kept their IPO shares after deducting all the dividends received now have the cost of about $2.84 per share. Any site/link that can show the full historical dividend payment entitlement/ex/payment dates ? including the annual special div. (4x 8 sen + 8sen special) |

The 4qtr saw improvement from the past quarters - an indication of better times ahead. If you take the financial yr as a whole, then u won't see improvement since the past qtr results declined. I think that is what the press reported.
