I'd wish to do the tut on 3r1c version but my 64bit W7 doesnt seem to run the app properly. I prefer the CF3B5 because it has a redirect list and can process batches of pkgs if we utilise the background download feature.

my ps3 is downstairs and it can only get 22% signal (from ps3's wifi status) and cant connect properly to my wag54g which is upstairs. but a laptop can access internet just fine from the ps3's location.

i gave up and opted for homeplug instead

yes. 100% and 3ms overhead. i can live with 3ms although real ethernet would give 0ms.

my homeplug adapter is plugged into an extension shared with ps3's power cord. and the modem/router is connected to another homeplug adapter upstairs.

the signal strength fluctuation may be caused by interference (neighbours' wifi, microwave ovens, etc)

hopefully the inferior ps3 wifi adapter (which can only support up to wifiG) can get signal from your new N type modeRn/router

well maybe they have upgraded the wlan adapter in newer models (mine is the launch unit) and the performance/reception could be better

if only people could click on the urls that i posted...
