Hi, I would like to apply for the "safe trader" tag and so far I've trade with lots of people where I remember a few like wind01, kent82, rasha and if not mistaken morph as well as many others. I also take part on other boards as well.

Can i suggest that to be a safe trader, the dealer must provide his pic in his deal and his house address.....that way is more safer......cos jus read a thread bout rlhh who has safe trader tag but aready people got bad experince with him.....

Or maybe we need 3rd party monitoring...dunno how to implement it...
but i do think we need to come up eith some system to provide more safe trading in LYN......

But....i know even the strict rules doesnt guarantee anything cos conman always konpw there r loopholes sumwhere

se7en, maybe we need a little more transparency here... I see some ppl with +- same amount of trades with me who have the tag, and some don't. One guy even has "apologies to whoever I FFK before" in his tradelist and he even got the tag. I didn't FFK anyone and I don't get it???? Is this a first come first serve arrangement?

yeah. graffika should have the safe trader~ deal him before~ and have a lot of other forumer also deal him before~. nice chap

I don't know if my trade list is considered enough, but I would like to apply to be one.

My successful trades are in my signature. Not only in Lowyat.net, but also Lelong.com.my

Some even met me before.

The problem is the pic and address might not be real or belong to him/her and some would use this chance to convince people in banking in their money and such. I'm not sure whether some people would use the trader's address or pic for bad purposes as well but it's a good suggestion to have a safer trade...

I only know that lelong.com uses verification where they need the IC, contact number, and such to ensure the member is reliable. I think that se7en would entrust one or more person to collect the member's information like photostated IC and such as well as other requirements like minimum of postings, opinions from those who traded before, etc to prove the member is an honest and good trader.

Afterwards, like a member suggested ALL member who send in their required information would be listed on a topic where it shows which one is still pending, approved or failed(might give reason like incomplete info,etc).

yup .. im agree .. i want to add 1 more .. who want to apply for safe trader tag, need send photocopy of their ic to moderators, admin .. it's because, if something -ve happen, we can refer to that ic no and informations from it .. it's easier to find the CHEATER!!!!.....
