Cataracts could be few reasons. Inherited from mother, or the mother's pouch got infection during pregnant.. or the mother is not on proper diet and malnutrition.. Obese/overweight or overbred mother's offspring will more prone to hav cataracts too..

sorry to hear that, but currently there is no effective treatment for cataracts yet. But send to vet for a proper diagnosis and see what u can do.

yup for one whole week before i got her ive research alot but when u actually experiencing in doing it, reading sometimes doesnt come in handy much. =P I know that she crabs because she is scared but is normal to crab sooo much? Im just worried about her..

izzjml, there is no 'crab too much' for gliders... crabbing is like crying for human..is a way for them to express and deliver their feelings.

In your case, probably is because of frighten and insecure.

Some glider will require more time to tame and adapt to new owner. Jus pay more attention and patience.

Keep it up. Try tent time, it works well.

crab so much it means so freak out...

it will lead to stress... n mayb worse...

if it crab... better try to reduce it... by giving it some meallies or sumting...

if still continue... better put back in the cage.. n try again next time..

hv u seen the 'sick glider' pic at front page? that is my glider.... She was in so bad condition last time... i brought her to vet almost every week. Never think of giving up ur glider until the last min, you r the only thing that she could rely on. Be strong..
