Here's one 1/12 scale McLaren F1 from Minichamps. Had many detail features like the Autoart but overall quality and details still not up to Autoart standard though. hehe. Such as the air intake of this and the air intake of AA. Even the interior.

@Edwardc: The 1/12 Mclarens go for less that USD$300 on Ebay, I got mine for USD$280. But yea, the interior is basically painted plastic and the doors wouldn't stay up.

edward: I know got a lot of brand but those cheap de cannot tahan long....

Autoart Reissued Porsche Carrera GT

The details are quite amazing on this model, one downside though, is that it feels really really light, it feels like 1/3 of the weight of a 1/18 Veyron.






I didn't notice the word on the emblem until I took a photo of it.




Nice and sophisticated engine compartment, the wire mesh is excellent.


I love how they managed to replicate the wooden trim of the stick shift.


Some very well done rims, even more so with the emblem.

Overall an excellent model from Autoart, the weight issue aside, of course.

Me too actually, but being so light must mean that more plastics are used to build the car, which is the main source of different tones of white and eventually the yellowing of the plastic parts. Heard a few stories from other collectors, white models do not age well so I didn't take the risk...

Really... i like white cars..... but i haven't add 1 white car into my collection

White X6 is nice but i want to focus more on perfomance car....X6m looks aggressive ma

Photoetched, 3D-ish "Mclaren"


The stubs!!! The one part CMC kinda failed.


One of the best wheels I have seen, though some of the owners say that it's a bit too small...


The exquisite interior, it has a distinct leather smell when the doors are opened.


I like how CMC has managed to replicate the opening mechanism of the SLR perfectly. Unlike the old Maisto I have, this one opens up like the real thing and the engine detail is plain awesome. For USD$290, this is what value for money is all about .

It's on par with BBR's diecast 1/18s with excessive attention to detail. It's getting scarce though, especially the black ones, it took me 3 moths to hunt this one down.

@Lkwanz: Ah, my bad, I'll keep it in mind, I'm really sorry . Yea, by all means, it is a great model but it might turn yellowish (the bumpers and skirt) so give it a thought. Maybe a silver one? But if you can paint really good then go for it, no thoughts necessary By the way, your R8 is really tempting...really really tempting... Hahaha

However, if you do decide to go for the carrera GT, don't be worried when the box comes in feeling like a feather. My heart skipped a beat when mine came, I thought it was empty

wanna ask u guys,the Burago's reventon rite,i notice only right side of the car got carbon fiber(the side skirt ther) while left side dun hv..is it normal?
edited:saw valcrist post of his reventon..same with mine..so i guess all reventon are same..anyway,did anyone of u sell Lamboghini Gallardo Superleggera Orange/Yellow colour? and Merc SLR black ones? how much for 1/18 Maisto.thx

Howard: Haha,you wan me to repaint AA? Silver is not a good choice though.I have a silver Viper,can see different shade on the bumper and body.Anyway,get a R8, a very nice and heavy model
