QUOTE(spadecrew @ Dec 19 2009, 02:33 AM) now my bike reaching 9k mileage...i've been giving my bike to my lil brother to go to college....now he's in mid sem break n i ride my bike again...at first i felt the bike is quite rough..then notice the chain is spoilt....so i change the whole set of chain n sproket+ rb chain tensioner and service the bike...change eo n using the motul ester, spark plug, oil filter...chain sound good but the engine is really rough....shaking my bike n this is disturbing for me....n too much power lost...how to get the engine smoother again n gain back the power?? haish You can go to the shop ask them service your top engine, maybe coz too many carbon build up on your piston and head there? And service your carb as well. This post has been edited by TryX: Dec 19 2009, 12:05 PM |

QUOTE(alexei @ Jan 16 2010, 02:24 AM) I use NGK Iridium, on my bikes. bought from Singapore guy RM38 a piece. I have 8. Only BPR9EIX for my TZM. I don't own LC. You bought very cheap lor. I bought mine RM50 per piece... include installation. Coz LC the plug very mafan to install for beginner like me mls_gamer: I've been using it a while and so far so good. Haven't been checking since I'm away from home right now. Last time my carb was bad, causing too much fuel and the plug will turn black. Changed the carb and now it's ok. How is your Denso bad? Can take a few pics and show? Maybe can analyze if need a hotter plug or not, especially if you mod your bike. I don't think the plug can harm your stock engine if it is tune nicely
However there is cons in using iridium spark plug. Shorter life span by 50% this is what claim by the manufacturer itself. I guess beside being expensive this is the price u have to pay for using iridium spark plug. That why our Alexei bro brought 8 iridium spark plug to spare This post has been edited by TryX: Jan 17 2010, 11:43 AM |
