QUOTE(alexei @ Dec 4 2009, 11:12 AM) I'm guessing you're asking them in paint application? I want to clean my chain Turpentine = Used to dilute oil based paint. Kerosene (Minyak tanah) = Used as burning energy source. Used in small amount to lengthen paint dry time, not to dilute oil based paint. Thinner = Used to clean ink surfaces from oil based stain. Not suitable in diluting paint. To my knowledge, above is ranked from weak to strong property as a solvent (pelarut). Depends on your purpose, turpentine is a safe bet, but its smelly, kerosene can use for quicker dry and glossy/glazing paintjob. Thinner is used to clean your hands after a day of hard work. Make sure don't use thinner on plastic, it may damage the surface. |

QUOTE(alexei @ Dec 4 2009, 02:26 PM) TryX: Petrol, diesel, kerosene, alcohol, WD40, should all be fine. Afterall you're cleaning a bunch of metal chain links. Not O-ring, right? I using O-Ring chains since longtime ago Saranjeevi: Hope I understand correctly: Projector headlamp includes the reflector. By retrofitting one, it means you'd have to remove the stock one. I don't know if halogen bulbs work well with projector or not, but my guess is 'No' because the lighting element is different. From my experience, fitting a 90W bulb into a 45W reflector definitely melted it. But, 60W bulb should be ok. |

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Dec 4 2009, 09:48 PM) no money la..haha..just bought bike..PJJ eh.. still new..haha..do bike...then bike no quality liao.. Okie seriously u can remove ur drop in air filter... Change CDI etc: Rextor or BRT. Than modified ur pipe. Rejet or reset the pj and mj of ur carb than Change to Racing footrest and alloy swingarms to reduce abit of weight. And change to irridium spark plug and Racing coil + put a booster like Stromberg. Btw dont forget the clutch too u can modi that part as well ETC change to thicker clutch shoe or racing clutch spring. So your bike can wheelie more easy This post has been edited by TryX: Dec 4 2009, 10:05 PM |

QUOTE(Twist @ Dec 5 2009, 11:59 PM) O-Ring Chains normally use in Dirt bike application due to the inside have a rubber o ring to seal the dirt from getting inside and also this chains won't make ur sprocket sharp. This kinda chain is very durable. Coz you just need to oil it and seldom need to adjust ur chains.... So this chains compare to Racing chains is more value for money. Coz racing chains need to be adjust 1 or 2 weeks onced. If Not ur bike will be noisy....Eventhough the price is expensive but it will last very very longtime. I never adjust my chains for about 6month. and is still in perfect condition i just oil it regularly. This post has been edited by TryX: Dec 6 2009, 03:48 AM |
