i know what you mean about gundam. i felt totally inadequate during the capture barioth quest
edit: and all the other quests too lah, but that wan was especially apparent because only him and i. habis.

Long monster post!
OK~ Last night was fun but Ughhh last night I was doing alot of running around!

NOTE:
I have a hard time doing my Super Pound as I need to charge for 3 secs and be standing still.
Should I release while charging, I'll end up doing the Spinning Attack.
And I lose my charge if I roll/dodge away. Its not easy with the monsters charging around.

AND while I'm running up with a charge, PLEASE do not hit me. I will lose the charge too.
I lost a couple of opportunities when I got hit. My purpose is to aim for the head at close range.

If you guys are also running at the head - that's whats my role as a hammer?
If everyone is kamikaze aiming for the head, I might as well put down my hammer in favour of another weapon.


The only time I can really do that is when the monster is trapped, stunned or dazed.
Another thing is while I'm aiming for the head, it changes direction.


For example: Diabolos, I need someone to effectively throw a sonic bomb when he dives.
While he is stun, I run up and pound him. Then follow by a flash bomb when he flies.

As for Gigginox and Barioth, I'm still getting used to their attack patterns.

Hammer can STUN big monsters - So far I've stunned G.Jaggi, Quru and Rathian.

the diablos capture last night was awesome!

and welcome onboard hiro.

the way we bolted from the scene when rathian came in was funny

hunted Quru for 4 times in a row, but not even 1 scale came out...
summon rathian summore....

i nearly got squashed. bounced off rath's claws into diablos' charge. ended up in the next area with a slither of life left

off all the things I am now missing some velvety hides and leader's crests for some armor crafting. The lagia armor ain't great for gunners - status attack down

but the great baggi armor i have got the hots for gives capture expert and ice resistance.

but great baggi hunts are boring

We should try the 2 barroth event quest

Bring lots of bombs and traps LOL

but they are quick. we can do two or three runs in like 30 minutes. lets just do it!
