How are we gonna hunt? I'm an MMO player, so I'm kinda used to group roles.

Just an example (Feel free to correct me as I'm newbie to MH3 ):
1. Designated tanker OR up-front and personal - GS/Lance/Hammer/etc
2. Melee DPS or Flankers - Sword+Shield/Any other weapon & Support bomber?
3. Ranged DPS - Bowgun & Support trapper?

Everyone should prepare own food/buffs/potions.

Well you're right there.

But becuz of my MMO experience I'm kinda a "stat" freak.
When I see some armor with low fire resist, I'm wondering how I'll end up being BBQ by the monster LOL

Anyways, I'll try to upgrade my weapon & armour before I hope online tonight

Well I need to participate a few times with the online experience then I'll know.

My pots, well-done steaks and whetstones are ready

I think the hunters using the great weapons & lancers are probably the best tankers
I'm SnS which is mostly hit/dodge/run! lol

Button B also my best friend xD Cant shield block a great jaggi at me

I might go full bowgunner... but I already made my armor for blade master
REASON is... I feel bowgunner can be a support hunter - Recovery Ammo + Healing Horn = helpful

Not to mention there are paralyse, sleep, paint bullets


Anyway, who's gonna be online tonight? Seems like 10pm is the time - hunt for 1-2 hours?

Unfortunately, each city can hold no more than 4 hunters...
its best we form our own groups?

Nah HR is only levelled through online mode. I only started online on Friday night! And now I'm HR5
Dont worry... doing quests will help you get the HR you need.

Seems quite a few of us now. Everytime I try to join you guys the rooms are full
So I end up opening my own room.

Btw, if I'm questing, I can still read the room chat - but I cant reply. Only way I can talk to you is via PM (Yellow text).

I am currently grinding HR... need to get HR9 to open the 2* quests.
I will be online at 9pm (maybe earlier) - Planning to hunt Royal Ludroth (again!).

That's the problem... I've already complete all the 1* quests with you guys. I dont have any urgent quest unlocked yet. I'm still HR6.

LV1 City Quests (HR1-8)
LV2 City Quests (HR9-17)
