i did all my socializing on saturday so that sunday whole day can monster hunt. hehe.

i'm stuck in mcdonalds taman muda. the wifey is getting a manicure, and then it's off to LYP to get a wireless keyboard.

just ask the rest last night. too bad (or perhaps luckily) my old keyboard ko-ed halfway thru!

as for caves, I saw someone lighting up the braziers on the walls. how do you do that? but giganox is so fugly,m it's better to fight him in the dark

i lit it up by standing in front of it, blow off the torch if i have it burning, press a to burn torch up again.

i think the only advantage you get while fighting him in the dark is....you get to see his eyes glow, and you know which part of him is front and which is his back. HAHA!

If you already have the torch lit (i.e. used) then you can use "right shoulder button + a" to light up the braziers in the cave by standing next to it.

guys, another question.... is it laggy playing online?

thomas cup. need to take a breather from hunting for a few hours. my hands are starting to carpal tunnel and my wiimote batteries are, for once actually running out!

You're right tigerporc. Now I got trouble for killing barroth. =(

Need to hunt for more items to trade for some traps now.

you can combine items to make traps too

Net = Ivy + Spider Web
Pitfall Trap = Net + Trap Tool
Shock Trap = Thunderbug + Trap Tool

pls take note the % of success (65%) for Pitfall Trap is lower than others so u may want to have Book of Combos while combining.


as for Barroth, you'll just have to get used its pattern ... and don't be too "greedy" with no of hits as the open time window for hits is quite short.

Unfortunately you can't make trap tools.
NOTE: The trap tool will be 50% off (100z instead of 200z) during the Trader captains visits in the offline moga village. You should stock up a bit.
It will also be 50% off during sandstorms in online mode.

so what did i miss after i left last night? don't tell me you guys whacked uragaan....i have a personal agenda against that bad boy after he made pancake out of me. twice! stupid bowling ball!!!

on another note, i really think capcom is having a good laugh on our expense with the latest event quests. we tried it yesterday, and boy was it full of LOL. two barroth in one area?!?! my camera was swiveling around like it was an incarnation of a disco ball high on ecstasy. on top of that it was a capture quest, not kill!

and the second one was even funnier. skinny dipping with sharks?! very funny capcom, very funny. i think goku was stunned for a while when he entered the room and saw us parading our naked selves in the tavern, screaming at him to strip.
