depending on Evasion/Stamina left, sometimes i find with GS if you are still pretty close to the monster or not very confident of having enuf time to sheath sword and run away ... it's better to Shield Guard.

if it hit's head-on also no problem. mainly stamina taken away only. if hit sideways (eg. tail) even better ... send us further away smile.gif


as for the keyboard, i use a wireless usb keyboard. i have plugged in during game... can work ah.

Wireless USB keyboard is best; logitech is nice but pricey so I still use a normal usb keyboard with 2xUSB extensions cable (bout 1.5 metres each)
Also I find you have to plug in the keyboard before you start the Wii console to make sure the keyboard is 'detected'

Yeah best to plug in the keyboard b4 turning on the Wii. I'm not using a standard one, its a gaming keyboard. LOL

@gaia i think if you hit the minus key "-" and start typing on the screen keyboard, it will be sent to chat

@madmoz woot woot, finally a usb keyboard biggrin.gif no more you standing in one awkward corner typing smile.gif

i have mine plugged in before i started the wii and it worked fine. it's a wireless, got it cheap, second hand. i actually have a small 15" lousy tv sitting on my desk next to my PC. so i game in my room, and don't disturb others biggrin.gif also, so much easier to look stuff up online, since tv and monitor side by side brows.gif

as for the block, i get out of the way most of the time. my shield autoblocks when monster's tails whip at me, or when i press "b" too late.

gaia, ok i just tried. press minus twice. this will bring up the screen keyboard. the text you send will be sent to chat.

Noob question how do i find people? i tried using the search user function to look some of u guys up but to no luck. Do we need to be on the same channel or something?

Had a real blast last night. We managed to kill the fugly gigonox, which to be honest was easier than i'd expected. Damn, where's the head, and where's the tail. That is one repulsive monster!

Best part of the day - We cut off Lagia's tail on the beach, he dives into the water, i go carving and type "Yum, yum tail!" and at that very moment he nails me with a electro ball - from underwater laugh.gif

Worst part - kena sepak 3 times (and dying!) in a row by rhatalos sad.gif. Sorry fearless leader.
