Certain monsters can hit you with a "status" effect, which is known as Blight.

One which I very well know is Gobul - when he sucks in water and if you're caught, he'll bite you.
You will receive his Water Blight.

That one I really don't know got blight, never been sucked buy Gobul before

meaning u take more dmg from elemental dmg caused from monster??? blight res negate this effect?

i think it means you are protected from elemental damages. whoa, i want blight resistance!

No no, it means the side effect. Like Peko would make you stay on torched if you got hit by the fire, Lagia would make you more likely to stun, Barroth would make your stamina recover slower etc.

Iceblight: stamina drops faster when running
Dragonblight: lowered affinity
Waterblight: slows down stamina recovery by a lot

ok since i'm still hitting you guys, i will stop using the rapid fire ammo and change to single shots. that should help

gaia, you are looking at alatreon armour right? i think blightproof means you are protected from the effects of the elemental damage, but you still take its damage, that's why the resistance of the armour is -5 Fire, -5 Water, -5 Ice, -25 Dragon

im just looking at the new skills need to know these before i make any armor...
