Tomas Rosicky has given Arsenal a boost in a week when they are hot favourites to confirm their place in the Champions League group stage.

With a two goal lead from the first leg of their play-off against Celtic at Parkhead, Arsenal seem assured of a place in the next round. And Rosicky is ready to make his return to first team football two weeks ahead of schedule.

Rosicky damaged a hamstring in training to postpone his comeback after 18 months on the sidelines because of a serious thigh injury. It was feared that it would be another fortnight before he could resume training but his recovery has been so rapid that he will return to training on Monday.
