if u refer to previous posts...
ur kinda advised to use integrated gps oni... use A-gps if u nid a lock fast...also turn on network based if u have unlimited data plan...
one lock by A-gps costs around RM 0.10
menu > settings > location > position > positioning methods

i can't find that setting in garminxt 5.5 ?...

Actually you can leave A-GPS enable, but make it prompt you whenever it uses A-GPS so you can know when it is used and when it isn't used.
*
what's the point on leaving it on ?coz ery time it prompts u .. each time use sure kena pay right ?

yeah. And if you go to singapore, you will pay roaming data charges. Will be really high. Here in malaysia i leave in on. But that is only because i have an unlimited plan. Previously it was off. Prompted tends to cause interruption while driving because it does not only pop up at the beginning.
*
yup in singapore. so i guess i'll just hav intergrated gps on and the rest i leave it off...

hey btw.. do you hav install antivirus into your phone ?

my advise for all of you who will go oversea is to immediately buy their prepaid sim card in any respective country that you are going once you arrive, it's not about data plan only, when you friends call you, your bill will go sky high too, you have to pay the country telco to receive call as well as bill by your country telco also so you are paying 2 sides here.
*
yah but you know singpaore's prepaid quite pricey ... the cheapest i heard is like $29.

ours here good rm8.80 can get already ... but S$29 is quite X to use for few days ... do u know of cheaper prepaid in singapore ?
