I'm older than you and it's more difficult. Testosterone goes down with age. I'm late 20's.

Prob. has something to do with being a swimming instructor. Has to be almost naked all the time so sharp ab definition is important.

Rippetoe says to alternate between bench presses and overhead presses to maintain a "healthy" shoulder girdle.


Added on February 5, 2010, 1:01 amAnd when you bench press, keep the shoulder blades tucked in. Requires conscious effort.
