hei guys! newbie here. using lenovo y470 with GT550m. stock 3dmark06 9653. n temp at full load is 78C. is it very high??

nt using laptop cooler but in AC room... i think need to buy cooler...

and btw guys, when u all do benchmarks for 3dmark06, what reso u all choose? 1280x768? or the max reso ur monitor support?

78 is considered quite ok, but there is no harm if you want to invest in a laptop cooler.smile.gif

Regarding the default resolution, I think it depends largely on your monitor resolution, if you have a FHD monitor,
then 3Dmark06 will default at 1280x1024, for lower res screen for example 1366x768, I think it will be at 1280x768,
but of course if you buy the software you can change the settings. smile.gif

Hi guys, just curious...
The integrated GPU for Intel Pentium B940 is Intel HD2000 or 3000? laugh.gif
Can't seem to find much info on this...
Notebookcheck indicates that all B940 should be running on Intel HD2000. whereas B950 may run on Intel HD2000/3000....
But it seems that there were forumers claiming that B940 comes with Intel Hd3000? hmm.gif
