Because it's not dedicated GPU?
Yeah, I saw many OC the GPU only, but due to the low scores vmad.gif vmad.gif
Better OC both GPU and CPU right?

Because games benefit more from overclocking the GPU..
and its not easy to overclock the CPU..

hmm.gif Yeah you have your points.
Guess I'll just learn how to OC GPU first.

Dear sifus,

I just ran 3DMark06 (version 1.2.0) and the final score seemed way lower (by arout 400 points) than that of Beowolf's. The specs are exactly the same sweat.gif
Will the marks differ due to different versions of 3DMark06 used? Or the score differences are due to background programs? hmm.gif

Thanks in advance for your input notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Background services can affect...

Is the nVidia 310M clocks speed the same with Beouwulf ?

lousy cpu score, sweat.gif will take one with minimal services running in the background the next time =.=

Sorry about the lots of attachment, 3dmark06 doesn't exactly display it like i expected.

Thanks for the reply bro notworthy.gif
A quick check shows that only the "Texture Filtrate" value is different from that of Beowulf (apart from driver versions).... others all the same sweat.gif
Err... how do I know how much background services/programs I'm supposed to disable before running 3DMark? hmm.gif
Thanks in advance!

Just try run after restart, and close any startup program....

If you have different texture fillrate, then you should have different clocks speed...

Err... maybe I'm not reading the info correctly haha
The comparison is below, I still don't see any different clock speed rclxub.gif

O____O wah....
Maybe that's the reason why all Satellite M500 units always experience the "driver has stopped working and recovered" issue doh.gif doh.gif
I don't think there's any way I can troubleshoot this right? cry.gif cry.gif

Anyway, thanks for your input bro, appreciate it!

GT 330M is similar range of the Mobility Radeon HD 4650. Built-in NVIDIA® PhysX. Modern and demanding DirectX 10 and 11 games (like Crysis or Risen) can only be played fluently with medium detail settings and resolution settings. Less demanding games like Sims 3 run in high details

between GMA HD vs HD550v, which one is worth taking? (by taking GMA HD, i'll save about rm300).. usage for movies and simple editing films taken by own camcorder (eg DCR SR68E). other spec roughly the same.

Upgrade for ?
Most likely can only upgrade your CPU since higher possibility that your GPU is soldered...
