So you think this AC Ryan is better than Popcorn Hour C-200 & TVIX's M-6620?
Now I very confused which to choose?
Hear after the China's National Day, more models of these stuff going to be reveal sweat.gif
*
Pls read this unbias review on C-200
http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21271
Not for normal end-user yet cry.gif . Too many bugs. Have to wait for several update firmware.

ac ryan is not in the same league as C-200.. better compare it to xtreamer / TVIX 6600 and several china made 400+ media players using the same 1073 chipsets..

Read this review also

So far M6600 is more mature media player in the market compare with others using same chipset thumbup.gif . The only set back is price matter.

I am currently playing my hd movies directly from the hdmi cable into my plasma - no problem with the miserable stereo sound coming from the tv. Seems that that dts signals are down-mixed into the hdmi cable as well.
*
Yes! thumbup.gif DTS Down-mixing no problem at all. rclxms.gif

I extremely interested in this bulk...want change my WDTV to this player. Btw, does this player got audio problem when playing file with size more than 40GB? Last night i play Joey Yung concert with my WDTV and the audio is lagging. Will AC Ryan face this problem?
*
I've tested Chai Ching/.m2ts/43GB/DTS-HDMA, Joey.Yung.Star.Light/.ts/44GB/DTS-HDMA.LPCM & Seven Swords/.ts/41GB/DTS-HDMA.LPCM.DD61 no problem with the audio.. no lagging at all.. thumbup.gif

FULL HD 1080P =Wireless N totally out,need wait wireless O,P,Q.

HD 720P = posibble but bitrate must lower than xxx bitrate.(i forgot the bitrate ady, something like 21mbps<est<"agar"ation)

Video streaming : ome claim wireless N 5Ghz can transfer better then wireless N 2.4Ghz.EG DLink DIR-855

Added on October 2, 2009, 5:47 pm
No. 1080p also can stream thru wireless N, as long as bitrate lower then 20Mbps.

1080p will like abt 10GB?
can i know, if the BD has 7.1 channel sound, will it be bigger in size?

this mkv format will compress the 7.1 channel sound or strike out the 7.1 channel to 5.1 channel?
if the BD has 7.1 channel sound and rip it to mkv format, when play back the mkv, will it have 7.1 channel sound?

thks
*
7.1 channel is HD audio. mkv until now still unable to support. for 7.1 channels, better go for .ts format, same as bluray format m2ts.

Well, price battling among them i guess.
You sure Viewnet RM630 still got stock?
You should tell C-Zone people that Viewnet is only selling for RM630 and ask them to beat that price or match it.
*
Agree. Well, talking about margain, it is the art of war. Depend on your skill and kang tau. You will enjoy it if you beat the lowest. It is fun.

I just found out from the supplier, yes the docker is able to format the blank naked hdd. For me, it's the way to go.

Does anyone here know about the next firmware release for the POHD? specifically for the capability to play BD-ISO?
*
Are you talking about Toaster HDD Dock? C-Zone & TheHub is selling this.. with USB 2.0 & eSATA..
