QUOTE(albnok @ Aug 2 2009, 06:19 PM) ahtsong: I have the Minolta 24-105mm F3.5-4.5 (D) for my A900. yes, i like the compact and very good for traveling, just like what i love my 16105...that y FF still not my cup of tea...The plus sides is that it is damn small, smaller than the CZ16-80mm, shorter than the 18-70mm kit lens, and it is F3.5-4.5. However if you expect a Zeiss out of it... no, it will not do that. The 24-105mm however is superb for studio work from F8 to F22 though where the 70-105mm range comes in real handy. You won't get the same image quality of the 16-80mm at F4.5 though but if you're shooting landscapes go F11 and you're happy. Seng_Kiat: Yes, the A700 screen vividness and sharpness matches my CRT monitor. Also it uses a 640x480 3" VGA screen (your 40D has a 320x240 3" QVGA...) since the A700 is cheap now, is thinking either to get the A700 or stay with my A350 and get a UWA |

QUOTE(Ahmike @ Aug 5 2009, 12:09 AM) yeah lo... what about mutiple flash ? studio lightning system ? wireless data transfer (camera to laptop on the fly) ? when i took my pre-wedding, as i know, there are few photogs and they using dif gear, C and N...too bad no SONY. and there is no problem on the studio lighting provided by the the studio, maybe the studio provide the transmitter to the photog...and they don use multiple flash....all studio lighting... btw, is the photog's duty to convert from RAW to JPG and adjust WB, level, BnW ++.. the designer only do skin touch up and designing task |

QUOTE(Ahmike @ Aug 5 2009, 12:22 AM) i got a fren studio (covers weddings, products shots etc) ... all nikon kaki not because they play with brand or what, but easy to manage and can cut cost . you don't have to worry too much on converters / adpaters. everybody can use any equipment but i don know u all refer to those commercial wedding studio or self-own studio....as what i refer to is those commercial one and the photog is taking salaryanyway in the end is the end product that matters for the clients. if combo or single unit brand which ever path you take can complete the task i think it ok .
