Alpha A800 coming soon in September. Sony already discontinued the A700 model. Reason for delay, this model might kill the sale of A900 as it has superior low light performance (rumours says better than Nikon or Canon) as its using the new Exmor-R CMOS sensor... they have applied this new sensor into its prosumer handycams with excellent low light results...
What you heard was outdated rumour. Exmos-R will not be implemented into DSLR so soon, it is impossible at the moment considering the cost and difficulty. I think one comment mentioned that the design is not suitable for current DSLR technology, because video cam sensor and still photo camera sensor is different. Another point is that video cam sensor is way tiny compare to DSLR sensor, not to mention the full frame size.
The latest confirm model was A850 (SonyStyle US leak), but nobody knows when it's gonna get released (possibly September), nobody knows the spec, the body type, or whether it's full frame or aps-c.
3 more Alpha models will come out by this year end: A500, A550, A850
