i prefer to wait if it is around 3k++ and worth my money .. what are the differences between a700 and a500/a550? anyone can confirm this?

but i tried shoot my friend at putrajaya with flash on, the picture a lil bit weird .. .. maybe the light there is not so white, not so yellow, not so green .. .. with above picture, i know, i have made the right choice .. ..

one thing i notice, when i use flash in M mode, why it automatically changes to TTL mode then I have release the shutter?

but didn't work. any idea what should I put in?

I registered my A700 successfully but only got 12 months warranty instead of 18 months .. .. CZ1680 has 18 months warranty .. ..

btw guys, can you post picture taken with your A700 at ISO200 or ISO400??? I can see noise even outdoor at ISO200 on my A700 .. ;( .. i just want to make comparison ... either it is just settings or this is the lack of sony dslr .. I am using firmware 4 d ..

emm .. any A700 user wanna share the settings, setting tricks etc to produce better picture? . ..

I jump back to sony because I like the color produced by sony. So colorful and I can't get it in Canon body with cheapo lens. L lens might produces something different but i have not much money to spend at least rm3k-4k everytime I buy lens. with sony, it produces colorful picture even with cheapo lenses ..

no doubt, nikon is famous with its colorful picture but i give my trust again to sony because of its in-body IS (SSS) .. I can shoot with ease even at 1/5 shutter speed with ANY lens .. the other fact I jumped back to sony is because of the price .. with my budget, I could get A700, CZ1680, F58 and 70-200 (later when I sell off my canon 70-200) .. stated lenses and flash are high end of sony line up .. .. I believe i could not get 70-200, sb900 and high end multi purpose lens if I choose Nikon ..

in terms of noise, from my 3 days experience with A700, I found that Sony is slightly behind Canon 40D at high ISO performance. but I believe, A700 produces great picture and good high ISO performance (from reviews, it is on par with Nikon D300). I just need time to get the correct settings .. .. it would be a great help if someone share me the settings or tricks that should I alter on my a700 body .. ..

I am planning to get Sony 70-200 .. .. but if tamron 70-200 is good enough, I will go for tamron with BG and macro lens with the budget i have .. .. ah, dont need talk about it since i have no money at the moment .. .. when the money comes, I will decide it .. ..

nope .. it is not same .. sony is just rm5.5k while nikon's is rm6.3k .. that are the street price .. and the price of nikon d300 is rm1k more than a700 ... make it almost rm2k different just for 2 items .. sony flash is just 1.1k white sb900 is 1.6k .. .. i am not that rich to get nikon .. ..

thanks .. yup .. after thinking back, sony dslr is not that expensive as others claim .. the problem is just if looking for 2nd hand items .. not much people using/selling sony dslr stuffs .. and it makes the price of sony 2nd hand items expensive than others and it is good for seller actually .. we buy new and seller at a lil bit lower price .. not rugi so much ..
