looking so far in the pre-season... it's really nice to see that some youth players who are able to play quite well in case of some injuries for the 1st team players... at least u can feel some reliability in these players than having to buy some fringe players from other team... but i hope with these players coming in to help out, it doesn't disrupt the team's rhythm and flow in the team's overall game play...

certainly De Laet looks assured playing last night - a good vision from Ole to recommend the player... he has a good physique - tall and looks strong and pacy as well!

totally impress with Antonia Valencia so far... doesn't seem to be overawed by his other world class team mates in the team and seem to be very humble... good lad indeed!

Foster
JOS - Rio - Evans [if Vida miss out] - Evra
Valencia - Carrick - Fletcher - Nani
Rooney - Berbatov

This team to start this weekend? hmm.gif

Chelsea has been trying the 4-4-2 with diamond midfield if I am not mistaken so wonder what sort of changes can be expected from them?

I still don't trust our team to play 442 well in the big games. I know we did well against them last season using Fletcher-Giggs there, but it would be different this time.

Rafael is injured.. didn't feature in any of the pre-season so far. It's been Fabio who have been getting games. At first as cover for Evra, and then when Wes got injured, and with Vida missing too, he played on the right in a few matches. He's right footed, so it's natural for him to play on the right.

De Laet looks good going forward. Seems easy to him. Strange one.. couldn't get a game at Stoke, and then we jump and get him to our reserves. Played against Hull last season and didn't look like a reserve at all.

I'm impressed by Valencia's performance. Hope he can continue on with this from. If he could, then it would be a good buy to replace CR7.

Gary was sent home (injured) during the Asia Tour, no? So don't think he will make it.

If Valencia can keep up this performances and supply the bullets for our strikers then we will have less worry on replacing the goals CR used to score for us.

Rafael, JOS, Brown, Gary, De Laet = 5 RBs to choose from?  biggrin.gif

west brown definately my best RB!!!

Well, TBH we don't have many choices for RB anyway. Gary, Brown & Rafael out injured so that leave us with either JOS or De Laet?

Dislocated shoulder for Rafael it seems sweat.gif

QUOTE
The United manager’s more pressing problems lie in defence. As well as the blow to Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, the right back, will miss the start of the season with a dislocated shoulder. Ferguson also has doubts over Nemanja Vidic (calf), Wes Brown (thigh) and Gary Neville (groin) with only ten days to go before the champions begin the defence of their title at home to Birmingham City.
