QUOTE(yw88 @ Sep 22 2009, 05:54 PM) okok....so use which method to upgrade the bios??? use the winflash can r???or any better method??? Winflash the easiest. Make sure no interruption during update process. So the vga driver here----http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?model=K40AB&SLanguage=en-us can use for latest bios???? or i need the mod driver for the latest bios??? QUOTE(GothFebrio @ Sep 22 2009, 05:54 PM) The design of the intake ventilation hole make it almost useless for using cooling pad, make it blow type or suction type. In 5 seconds it can rise up 20'c. I am rocking with NFS: Shift now. Graphics is ok, but need fine tuning to get more fps with AMD Fusion on.

QUOTE(suadrif @ Sep 23 2009, 12:48 AM) bro, That's weird, mine takes less than a minutes to load. Does your other games behave the same? Otherwise, it may be the game installer. Try reinstalling the game from another DVD, make sure to update DIRECT-X 10 from Microsoft. Could be also VGA driver not properly installed.i installed nfs shift on my lappy but it takes really long time to loading is it the laptop itself have problem or the game installer hav problem? it takes around 15 minutes and i only can see the tire spinning only at the start i watch spongebob from 5pm to 5.30pm, and it dont even start yet huhuhu Or the game loading on HD3200 on Power Xpress mode? Gaming or non gaming, the fan can take the pounding at full speed. But can you tolerate the noise? If yes then there should be no problem. So far never heard cpu fan failure before.

QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Sep 23 2009, 02:22 PM) yup, my fren also envy the laptop finishing and the design. sort of like carbon fiber kind of design. Haha.. especially when under light, it gives you the impression of a fine glossy expensive design. Its like some kind of snake skin for me (Asian King Cobra perhaps). My personal view la. |

QUOTE(chewchew @ Sep 24 2009, 04:02 PM) wowww... Yup, its not like most system when you just buy one & ready to blast. Actually you can but you wont be satisfied with default setting. Things like Overdrive, Fusion, K10stats, DNA mod driver is just the basic tune ups. seems like this laptop is full of Do-it-youself....everything needa be done ourself... i mean its like wat we are paying is just for the cool graphic card..but a lot of tweaking to be done on our own... any comment on this?.... am scouting around for this model too...but as i am not reli good at tweaking stuff...am considering other more user-friendly model too... Its all in the details. This post has been edited by NaGeNaZ: Sep 24 2009, 07:14 PM |
