i am not saying your price is expensive, but generally the BD-R media cost is expensive compare to DVD+R and hard disk (per GB).....

example = 25GB of data
BDR = RM25
DVD+R = RM6
Hard Disk (1TB hard disk) = RM7 to RM8


i am sourcing for cheap BD-R currently before purchasing any Bluray burner....once i can get cheaper BD-R source, i will be looking for u....to buy the burner

C'mon man ... get ur facts straight ... in the shops, u won't even get BD-R 25GB for RM25. Just checked out the price of a BD-R 25GB recently and it was RM55 a piece. TS is selling BD-R 50GB (that's dual layer, so u know) for Rm50 ... so u tell me which one is more expensive ... duh!

All Blu-ray medium are not cheap. period. However, it is another backup medium to consider, other than buying another hard disk.

How can u compare bd media with dvd media?
We can say bd media is still expensive now, but the quality is superb.

Below RM10 per piece (from Taiwan)......but need to take at least 500pcs...

this is what i call acceptable price....

I wanted to imported but 500pcs x RM10 = RM5000 is a huge amount.....i think i will wait....

Sorry to interupt .IMO there's some mistakes in d way some people thinking.owning a blu ray writer by no means u must burn a blu-ray backup on it.generally it is about having an all round burner in ur hand.i myself used it for DVD DL burning n watching BD movie.when need arises for big backup,that when dis drive show their might.n by having the cheapest possible is a big advantage.for the media,it's ur call.u can always search anywhere u think offer d lowest price.

Back to d reality,TS is offering the cheapest BD burner in LYN(if not in Malaysia),IMO,if we take advantage now,we can always laugh when we got d right media at d right price.btw,RM1 for 1GB is not hurting anybody.juz my 2 cents.

i will definitely buy the drive from you if i can get cheap media..............

Nice thread of selling bluray drive for pc, i hope got seller in Penang that sells this bluray drive, cause i check the IT shops in penang, no one is selling bluray drive and if u wan have to order and will take about 2 weeks for the delivery, that crazy...OMG..2weeks is unacceptable.

hm.. new model already arrive bro.. but need some time to make
a comparison table to differentiate BH20L (current model) and BH30L (new model)..
gimme some time k? and the main differ is the writing and reading speed.
the price is a little bit higher then current model. I was thinking for BH30N (non LS) for RM450
and BH30L (LS) for RM500.

My stock for BH20L only have 1 left and will start to sell new model after this.
