really want to buy this BD-writer.......but after calculate the cost ????

the blank disc cost is too expensive......RM25 for BD25.......1GB for RM1.x........currently have to backup my movies using DVD+R and DVD+DL...

i am not saying your price is expensive, but generally the BD-R media cost is expensive compare to DVD+R and hard disk (per GB).....

example = 25GB of data
BDR = RM25
DVD+R = RM6
Hard Disk (1TB hard disk) = RM7 to RM8


i am sourcing for cheap BD-R currently before purchasing any Bluray burner....once i can get cheaper BD-R source, i will be looking for u....to buy the burner

I wanted to imported but 500pcs x RM10 = RM5000 is a huge amount.....i think i will wait....

BD-R price is also dropping.....

Didn't check on BD-RE (don't really need...should be quite expensive)......

4x BD-R 50GB is around RM40 ====> too expensive for me..not ordering...


Please reserve 1 unit of BH30N for me if possible....(will get it end of the month after i get my paycheck)

Finally get the burner from archangel82 yesterday night.......no time to test yet.....have to wait until weekend to install and test....

Already burned 2 pieces of DVD+R DL

my BD-R is arriving next week.......will do more testing next week....

haha...QA test........must burn kaw kaw .....wait until i get my hand on the BD-R....and i will burn burn burn


burned quality not bad for DVD+R DL................... (very smooth playback on my notebook DVD-ROM)

Burned another 2 pieces of DVD+R DL at 8x.......nicely burned and smooth playback.......

don't worry bro, he has a lot of stock.....

Finally........my BD-R DISC arrived................heavy stuff....upload some pictures first.....(lousy web cam....don't laugh)

so far already burnt 50 pieces of BD-R and going strong.....

notice that most of the blu ray '50GB' movie....after removing the non-english sound track and all other feature, the main movie file actually is less than 25GB....just nice to backup to a Single Layer 25GB BD-R........
