Yes promo still on.
Can't transfer the line but you can use TM's call forwarding feature to divert your incoming fax bound for your existing number to your new iFax number. By doing so, you can received fax in you email.

If so, the rental fee to TM is still need to pay.
Monthly Rental Charges & Outgoing fax is different?

You can cancel the TM fax line as you wish and use only ifax number as your incoming fax line. You decide.
The system will automatically deduct the rental from your prepaid account in advance upon due date based on your subscribed package.
As for the out going fax, the charges is time based per half minute block as per rates table deducted in real time from your prepaid account.

No special application is necessary for up loading document to ifax in a mobile device.
I can use a symbian based Nokia 5800 xm to login to iFAx website and upload any documents from the phone for out going fax using the Nokia built in browser.

Below are comments from my exiting customers. So far no one post any complain in my thread.

For RM120 starter pack, you will get RM40 free preloaded credit.
Received fax is an optional service where u can self activate it after log-in. There is no fixed monthly chargers, instead you just pre pay the period you want to received incoming fax. We have monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly. After you activated you personal incoming fax number you can immediately receive up to 500 A4 pages per month for free.
Exceeding 500 pages, each page will be charge RM0.40* (Note* my customer reported to me that there was no RM0.40 charge per page even he exceeded 500 pages within one month.)

Latest and the 1st in Malaysia, Push Fax Delivery System !!

Stay in the loop with push-delivery technology, which instantly alerts you via any GPRS or 3G mobile phone when faxes are sent to your REDtone fax number and view the fax on the spot without logging in to your email account. Please see below print screen illustrations.

When there is a incoming fax, the server will instantly send a notification sms to your mobile phone with a hyperlink to open/view the fax document. By clicking the hyperlink, you can view the fax directly on your smartphone without the need to login to your email account.
