Yes agree.

I do know a lot from you all since the first day joined this thread. Somehow I may not able to understand those shares topic cos i'm not into shares, but for certain economic status or relevant topics, I do clear on what you guys are saying, plus my own readings and research.

It's only boldness and intelligence and never-give-up attitude that will conquer and master stock markets.

I was of the same thinking.

But past and bitter exp taught me not to have a Positive Mental Attitude in speculations.

Always prepare for the WORST CASE ...........

TIME will tell/teach us what is right or wrong. Not the intelligence ( or worse misled still )

I have professor ( my teacher ) and friends are MBA in investing.

I always listen to them with an open mind.

not everyone buy shares.....not everyone understand liquidity, risks, div ex date, share price etc etc

for ppl esp family ppl who r looking for low risk high yield long term earning, i believe ASM is really helpful

most of those buying....r mummy/daddy saving money for their child's future....kept it for 5-10 yrs or even longer.....

REITs.....good for DY but no guarantee....if so good....then everybody just invest in REITs lo...no need other shares la hhehehehe

just my 2cents ......cant blame them for buying ASM.....

I don't mean to go for something with low liquitity cos I don't like my money being bounded by something, plus, I never know how long i can live laugh.gif

Yes you're right.

Think of the worst before go into investment.

I know this from someone before i entered share markets. At first I don't understand why, but now i know what he meant.

Debbieyss,

I did not have any exp in future market

But I could sense from your past discussions, something missing in you.

I mean the understanding part of it .

That is my concern.

Good luck, anyway.

The company’s stock rating was raised to “buy” from “hold” at AmResearch Sdn Bhd to reflect higher contributions from its Malaysian, Indonesian and Bangladeshi units.

The target price was increased to RM3.60 from RM2.40, AmResearch said in a report today. - Bloomberg

OSK also... OSK upgrades Axiata to buy

QUOTE
OSK Research yesterday upgraded its recommendation for Axiata Group Bhd to buy from trading buy with a higher price target of RM3.40 on expectations of better earnings from its two main subsidiaries Celcom (M) Bhd and PT Excelcomindo Pratama (XL).

“We expect XL to report a headline net profit in 2Q09 on the recovery in mobile spending and a gain in the rupiah of some 12% year-to-date.

“Our recommendation on the stock is upgraded to a buy from trading buy on growing conviction on the earnings delivery of its overseas mobile assets and our view of diminishing medium-term concerns over its balance sheet,” OSK Research said in a note.

Its sum-of-parts derived target price is upped from RM2.70 to RM3.40 after updating market valuations for its listed overseas entity and revising upward its FY2009/2011 earnings forecasts by 4% to 7% on better earnings from Celcom and XL.

Instead of waiting for someone to paint on me, where finally i got trapped, I'd rather go for self study and research.

Slow to get improved but it's better than being trapped painted by wrong people.
