Hi g@m3rs ,

Never see you around before, so welcome. smile.gif Hope LYN forum will provide you good insights and make lots of profits. rclxm9.gif

Here is my two cents worth, and really only my opinion. blush.gif

PBBank counter is really a solid counter. It held steady even when prices went down in March. It did not really break $7.00 and after that continue to rise.

I started buying the counter when it was at $8.30. I average up (yes, you can average when prices are going up too) at $9.20 last week.

Today already $10.00. I love this counter. wub.gif

So, in particular to PBBank, you can start somewhere. Don't "sai lang" everything into it  one go. Maybe buy small lots, 1/2/3 and then if the price drop, you can average down. Unless you have lots of cash and and average at higher lots, you may want to make big initial purchase.
If the price go up, you MAY choose to average up. You are still getting the price appreciation benefit too.

You need to have a strategy. Don't just rush in to the counters or markets, but study carefully first. There are lots and lots of sifus in this forum i am sure will share with you. notworthy.gif

One solid counters I hold from Nov till now is YTLpower. Extremely solid. Even market rally, it will move 1-2 ticks only. Div payout from my buy price expected to be >8%. BJTOTO is ok, but make sure you have enough money to do dollar cost averaging. Digi? How do you think of Malaysia mobile service?

protonw, just want to ask, if i buy REIT, i'm going to do it for long term, have dividend as my consistent income. But do i need to spare some money for margin call as well?

today is a big surprise day.. tongue.gif
KNM volume exceeds 1,000,000 and volume for most counters rise by 50%.
the most shocking information is the CI break 2 resistant points and shoot up to 1,100 point psychological level.
tomorrow will be a greater day. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

margin call? If I am not mistaken margin call is the top up you have to do when your counter drop too much during bad times and the bank wants you to pay for the facility you obtain from them.

reit is same as any other counters is just that reits give consistent dividend either in quarterly or semi annual and the price is so snail moving. Reits is only good if you are for dividend and suitable for non risk takers and have holding powers.

For me, I am for diversification and prefer dividend counters as should market crash, at least I have some dividend to spend. On the other hand reits dividend is in the region of 10%. So is pretty high. So far I only put 10% of my total investment in the reits. I will accumulate more. I like the 3 counters I have so far. It gives more than 10% growth besides dividend.

Cheers
