Nokia N97 should be out in end of this month / early month of Nov. It is already in RDA, checked in. See the countdown. It's around 6 days from today =)

Don't know how much the price would be.
Anyway, this is the 1st new OS from Nokia. Don't really expect much out of it though.
But hope that this will be a blast for Nokia fan.

correction N900 only first Meamo 5 device.... Meamo Os had been develop since few year ago...
anyway according to nokia press, N900 will nt come to malaysia =D so maybe some AP dealer will bring it but i think there wont hav any original units =D

I've been following the thread silently and its good to see many people still have their hopes high for V2.0 and also a lot of new owners coming in. For me, I've been using the phone since June and my only hope for V2.0 is the improvement in stability issues.

I cant take it when:
1) My phone hangs when there is call coming in
2) My touch screen acts funny, when I press Setting it goes to Contact, Apps etc
3) The screen can be really unresponsive at times. Thanks God there is the D-pad

If V2.0 unable to settle all this, I think I'll have to move on before the price goes down too bad (Blackberry Bold 9700 maybe). i can live with the scratched lens and peeled off metal coating, I just need to answer my calls..

Nokia N97 software update 2.0 (version number 20.0.019, 20.1.021 and 20.2.019 depending on your region) is now available through the Nokia Software Updater. The software update will make your N97 perform even better, through numerous fixes, improvements, new features and new functions.

Software availability
As usual, we have published standard non-customised versions of the software, with country (SIM-free) and operator versions following over the next few days and weeks. The Nokia N97 (and several other devices) can check automatically for new software. Go to Menu > Applications > SW Update and enable automatic checking. MyNokia members will also receive an SMS stating "new software is available" as the deployment progresses. To register, go to www.nokia.com/mynokia.

Using your PC to update
Initially, this software update is only available through the Nokia Software Updater. Due to wealth of new content available in this release, the over-the-air "FOTA" packages are larger than normal (around 17MB) and to allow for sufficient testing, delivery will be slightly delayed.

What's new
The software contains many fixes and improvements including:

    * Improved touch screen scrolling
    * Ovi Maps 3.1 with 3–D maps
    * Nokia e-mail, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Store
    * Improved memory and battery performance
    * Improved image and video stability
