beta bios 06/29 or 08/27. check in rebelshaven or bbs.ocer (chinese based).

1. flash d bios
2. set ht link @ 1.6GHz
3. set acc = auto

that's it (provided ya chip comes w/ healthy locked core ofcoz)...

pls use d biostar t-series bios update (from d cd rom) instead of afudos... flashin .cet bios file w/ any other tools than d windows based flasher is as gud as sendin d board to rma...

i'm usin 08/27 now, not much diff than d 06/29.

have u tried w/ diff clock speed a.k.a usin lower multi? what's ya nb freq? if > 2400MHz i'd suggest u to lower it down 1st. i got funny error in memtest showin error @ mem location 42xxmb while i'm havin 4096mb of ram only... my guess could be imc issue. not so sure thou as i'm always lost when it comes to ram oc...

havin hardtime to tame my el cheapo infenion @ > 800MHz...

in bios, disable show mem error message, voila... boot up as per normal... to be safe always test it w/ d build in memtest 1st.

sometimes what we want & what we can afford are 2 diff things. i will take dfi @ anytime but my cfo says d other way round, so i'm biostar.

most will go for biostar as long as price is a concern, unless d case like d 790gx ddr2 boards where asus just rm35 higher than biostar. if a person is in his rite mind, d extra RM35 is definitely worthy cause asus always come w/ better build quality.

atleast 2 sata/sata2 hdd for raid 0/1, raid 5 needs atleast 3 iirc.

as of now, it's pointless to go for raid 0, performance gain is too small compared to d troubles it mite caused u.

unless u raid 0 2 ssd...

guess it's becoz of d acc value bro, gotta try dual core tonite, check d highest clock d 2 gud cores can go. after that w/ same clock + voltage, enable 4 cores & run 1 instance of orthos at d time, sure can find out which 2 are d weaker one. time will tell, for d moment, just keep our fingers crossed bro...

nearly bought a sempron 140 justnow, but when i think of d debts i got, d idea gone... even it's pay day today...

didn't check (not in d mood after thinkin of utang ), whole sls only got 2~3 chips only, there's only 1 shop carries d sempron, d rest all dual core.

auto will do d job as well.
