U need to connect your pc output to the tv's input

DVI to HDMI does not transfer sound.

It wont change if your gcard supports hdmi either, because graphic cards do not transfer sound.

don't mislead people if you are not using it tongue.gif

I am using my ATI4870, using a dvi to HDMI converter, then connect it using HDMI cable to my AVR, and got sound smile.gif

This is the fact now although many people still say DVI to HDMI no sound, which is TOTALLY WRONG!!! biggrin.gif

If you use ATI HDMI audio, make sure you use Vista. I have headache trying to configure HDMI audio out from XP. Upgrade to vista and all problem solve. Anyway, ATI Catalyst vista driver 9.6 come with HDMI audio. No need separate download. My only complaint is it doesn't support Dolby digital live as my YSP-4000 is not LPCM supported.
