good. y not go for FULL?
*
my friend offered me for a full. I was tempted, but now I decided I will do the half. My first half marathon time in Borneo was bad, 3h30m, I walked for the last 11k because of knee pain, I believe due to not enough training. I have been training since beginning of Nov, running average 30k per week for the last 3 weeks. ran 2 16ks, so I think I am more ready for this half.

Full will be next year.

Creatine is a type of acid that is naturally produced in our body but certain people opt to buy them off the shelves. It provides you with a sudden surge of energy. However, it does more harm than good. It has been discussed before and answers can be found on Google.

Added on December 3, 2009, 2:40 pmWill be leaving in the wee hours tomorrow morning for Macau and Hong Kong for the Macau Marathon this Sunday. Here's wishing those running Singapore Marathon and Salomon Trail Run the best of luck and happy running.

And yeah, Sundown Marathon 2010 is now open for registration. The usual 84KM, 42KM and 10KM with a new 21KM for next year. I've signed up for 84KM. Who is game to join me?
*
All the best for Macau.

Thinking for Sundown 42K. Cannot join 84K yet.

kenshiro, are you going to Singapore Std Char marathon? We are going to Changi Expo hall 5 to pick up our bibs. The info given by ccube, 2Xu is setting a boot there for registration. I am not sure on Sundown. So, will just look around at Hall 5 for it.

i signed up for 21k SCSM, trained for it, but end up running the full 42K. I didn't complete my 42k, stop at 34k, because my stomach was giving me problem. wanted to vomit. a good experience. I got to say the bib collection is one of the smoothest I ever experience, it took me total less than 5 min and got my bib.

got to go back for serios training for a full marathon soon.

any of you happen to stay in Beach Hotel during SCSM? Saw few Malaysian runners there.

Next year I will stay in Park View, same price, better facility, and a bit closer to The Padang.

i did badly for my 21k. 2:55. was on m 7min per k pace till 13k, and then suffer cramp and feel like vomiting. I think due to my lack of sleep, a bad mistake.

steveysl: You sure that's P7 where we park? According to Jeff, it was P2 so I followed the P2 shuttle bus back. Upon dropoff, the signs say P7. Errr... Weird. Then some middle east fellow wanted me to fetch him to some roundabout cause he says he is drunk. Immediately I lock myself in the car, changed and drove off. Scared he got intention to rob me.

elgato: It was indeed to meet up with you again. Am sure you had a good run.
*
Frank, where we park was P2. I am just referring to the rest on the meeting for LYN group. When I took the return bus, and I asked the drive if that is P2, and he said P2. So, confirm where we park was P2.

Better be careful, not that we do not want to help the person. Anyway, there was a big group of us going to our parking. so no such issue.

QUOTE(chinleong @ Apr 12 2010, 05:24 PM)
Guys,

Which one is more suitable for runners? RS800CX or Polar FT80? I started to feel regret buying in Polar FT80

What's the pros and cons of both model?
*
chin leong, if you check Polar site, you will notice that for Fitness & Cross Training, the model start with FT, and for Cycling start with CS, and RS is for Running and multisport. But seems like majority of the watch can pair with S1 the foot pod. Anyway, I have not tested one, so really not sure what to expect.

maybe Frank/phoenix can help on this.
